Here's a little lesson in economics:
Currently, the cost of production of soybeans exceeds the futures price by $1.00 per bushel (this figure was provided by the ASA).
What should you do if you have soybeans that need to be harvested:
Harvest them and take the loss (may be tax deductible)
Plow them under instead of having them harvested (there may be a cost to taking this option)
Leave them in the field to rot (you have lost S1.00 per bushel)
Take the French option; harvest them and truck them to Washington, D.C., or the location of the local Department of Agriculture office, and leave them on the street to rot (might cost a little, and be tax deductible. You might have to pay a littering fine. Definitely would feel good though! )
After picking one of these options, don't vote for a guy who has bankrupted GAMBLING CASINOS, for God's sake. Not only has he shafted his shareholders and vendors, he always comes out with more money than he put in to the scheme (using this word in the American sense, not the English sense).
By the way, your guy has made from $3 BILLION to $6 BILLION, got a 'free' 747 jet that will cost up to $2 BILLION to retrofit to make a new Air Force One (this plane reverts to Trump's Library when he leaves office), since being sworn in in JANUARY! These are just a couple of instances of the GRAFT and CORRUPTION that are rampant in this administration. HOW MUCH HAVE YOU MADE THIS YEAR?
Just so you know, I'm a Republican who disagrees with EVERYTHING that Trump stands for.
And I have very little sympathy for the Republican soybean growers in my state who voted for this pathetic moron. The government should NOT bail them out. I say 'you voted for this, live with it'.
