The hand not holding Yuma was clenched at her side, silver magic pouring off it in her rage. “You remember what I said I would do to you if you dared to hurt my son, don’t you?”

Genie didn’t stop him. She’d find him eventually. Vector could run but he couldn’t hide, not from her. She then turned her attention to Yuma. She knelt down, looking him over. “Yuma, are you alright?”
