Hey guess who forgor they were doing this
sorry tumblr! I forgor :( I'm taking a short break from a coding assignment to update you guys on all the like four streams I've done
"Can I beat a rando before you kill me?" Hollow Knight Crowd Control high settings randomiser stream | 25/02 TL;DR, sad CC was underused imo, but def will try again oo, this was a pretty fun one! tbh, the crowd control was used less than I was hoping, and Pure Vessel *only* appeared once, which like slightly crashed the game, as well as someone giving me enough lifeblood to last an entire playthrough. I enjoy any opportunity to play this game, though, later, upon trying to do more of the rando, I didn't want to play tons because waterways and edge kinda suck yk what I'm sayin
"vampire and friends try not to die!!" Peak/R.E.P.O. community night stream | 28/02 TL;DR, I love doing things with my community they're awesome I haven't played either of these games in a while, and it was nice to revisit them, especially with friends from in my community! unfortuneately, the Peak run died fairly early, but on the bright side, it was nice to play with the people who joined me for that run, and it did more or less perfectly align with the time I'd said I'd start repo. Repo was also really good, got up to nonsense there and died only a couple times. it's amazing how every time the shop turns into a bloodbath lmfao but always a joy
"fraud tomorrow" ULTRAKILL Layer 8 stream | 04/03 TL;DR, I want to get off mr hakita's wild ride I was dyinggggggg to play Fraud since it released a week before this. thankfully, holding off this long allowed some bug patches to go through, and so I things ran smoother than what might've happened on release. Fraud really did not disappoint, and even now when I play the layer, I still don't know which way is up. It's a crazy convoluted mess of non-euclidean level design and one of my favourite gaming experiences, I think. however, I did have a light headache once I finished up, and after a short break I did a little cooldown by playing some Dead Cells, just something I'm v comfortable with
"fih" Dredge stream | 07/03 TL;DR, fun game, thematic ending, def more to it I left a poll up to the community the Friday before this stream about which game to stream. It's almost guaranteed a mistake to ask a twitch community anything, as the poll ended it a three-way tie between Dredge, Terraria and Going Under (Balatro got a vote, Slay the Spire got none). I resolved this in the second fairest way I know, asking someone who didn't vote in the poll which one I should go for. They picked Dredge but try and add a withered Foxy jumpscare mod to the game. I forgot (and hadn't looked into where Dredge mods are typically catalogued) so we were left with vanilla. I did a little exploration, and finished a couple side quests before embarking on what I think is just the standard ending for the game. I'm wiling to bet that there're more endings to the game, but hey, Cthulu's here, I guess. I can't wait to fully finish the game, so that I can look at a more in-depth analysis of the lore of this game, as it does really interest me, and Lovecraftian horror is something I want to consume more of. I'm probably going to leave it for off stream stuff, or as a filler stream for when I don't know what to stream. it could def have been a main stream game, but circumstances did not allow for that
Thanks for reading my catch-up, lmao, and hope you have a great rest of your day!
