Life is hectic. We all do things to make time for ourselves and our spiritual journeys. Last night I found something I forgot about. You may ask how can you find something you forgot about if it wasn't lost? I didn't necessarily loose it physically just the thoughts of it.
Anyway it led me to honor Aphrodite. Goddess of Love, Beauty, Fertility, Marriage and sometimes war.
Aphrodite was born from the white foam produced by the severed genitals of Uranus (Heaven), after his son Cronus threw them into the sea.
She is usually thought to be Materialistic and is known to be vicious towards others when it pertains to her looks. Have you ever thought of why? Mythology in general makes Men out to be these all powerful things and that beauty is of most importance. Maybe her behavior is a way of how she was brought up? 🤔
So many theories....
Anyway, that's my rant for the day!
