aigis and mitsuru i will just always see as having a sisterly relationship. it was the kirijo group that was responsible for aigis's creation, and though that doesn't inherently mean that the two of them are related obviously, i do really think aigis would look to mitsuru like an older sister. not only because of that relation, but because mitsuru is so wise and responsible and protective, all qualities that aigis believes are important in big sisters. i think sisters in general are so important for her.
just in general, aigis will always be mitsuru's ride or die. she's very committed to keeping her safe and helping her reach her ambitions. she trusts mitsuru wholly.
tangentially, a million years ago i had an idea for a fic where it was an au that, instead of aigis remaining deactivated after her memories were wiped after the moonlight bridge incident, she was "given" to a young mitsuru to keep her company since mitsuru is an only child and probably grew up lonely. i still think it's a cute idea if you want to do anything with it!

oh man. well. heh. familial is crossed out because aigis will most likely always harbor feelings for minako regardless of their relationship status. and as for antagonistic... i cannot imagine a world where aigis would willingly be her enemy.
i obviously have an enormous bias for protag/aigis regardless of gender and i believe you said you have a preference for minato/aigis (:eyes: at you) so we could go either way with writing them romantically but i would absolutely love to write minako/aigis with you if you were down! minako is, in aigis's own words, her most beloved person. even if she didn't return her feelings, she will always be the most important person in aigis's life and the one she will always stand by and be there for. that was the promise she made to her, after all, and aigis would never break a promiseâespecially one made to minako.
but even that aside!! their friendship is so important to me!!!! aigis thinks especially fondly of those early few months after she first (unknowingly) reunited with minako and the kindness and patience she treated her with. it would be so easy (and frankly, in aigis's mind, understandable) to treat her cruelly or without care, to see her as nothing more than a machine and a tool. but minako saw her as an equal and a friend, someone to teach about the world and share its beauties with her. she cherishes minako's friendship so, so much.
and i think it's so interesting that minako sees aigis as her savior when, in aigis's mind, she was the one who doomed the twins. she was the one who put death in minako, after all. she carries such a heavy sense of guilt for that even post-game. could definitely be interesting to explore hehe.

"I can't help but think that Junpei has some beautiful friends..." The words slip from Chidori's mouth before she has even half a thought to stop herself. The girl had only been discharged recently; her memories failed to return and she has no known living relatives. By the grace of the Kirijo family was she given the chance to study at Gekkoukan next yearâ
It's a shame, she thinks, that she didn't get to stay at the dorm before the third years graduated.
This get-together had been pulled together by Junpei himself. He'd wanted to introduce Chidori to everyone, of course, though she couldn't help but notice the tensions were high. One of their friends had passed away recently. With how the girl knows that her own recover is nothing short of a miracle, there's guilt in her heart; there's a feeling that she doesn't deserve this. There's no part of her that can pinpoint why, yet the sadness in the room...
Most everyone had decided to go for a walk, leaving the red-haired girl alone with the blonde girl. Chidori can't help finding her features inhumanly pretty and it's that point where she spoke up, only to realize what she'd said and place a delicate hand over her mouth. How embarrassing. They'd only met tonight! How soon is it too soon to compliment company? She hasn't exactly been social lately.
And why, why did Junpei leave her alone like this?
"Um..." Fingers curl inwards as they relax, Chidori trying her best to smile at her. "I'm sorry, that's... an odd thing to say, isn't it?"
What was her name again? Oh, that's itâ
"I was just surprised, is all, Aigis-san." How do you spell her name? She can't help but wonder. "All these lovely people, and yet..." He says he likes me.
lately, all aigis can seem to do is space out. Â itâs difficult to fully entrench herself in conversations as much as the people she talks to deserve when she finds that her mind seizes every spare moment as an opportunity to let her thought drift off to... Â her.
sheâs still half-listening, though, and she swiftly notes chidoriâs bashfulness. Â what were they talking about again? Â were they even talking at all until now?
quick to placate, aigis shakes her head and replies,   â itâs not odd.  youâre right.  i think it was said that yukari-san is the loveliest girl in our class.  fuuka-san and kirijo-san, too. â   her peers often told aigis that she was beautiful, but she understood now that they said so in an attempt to woo her.  as far as she was concerned, that was the only reason.  she wasnât sure how she would describe her own looks â not that there was really any need.  maybe, a short time ago, she would have cared...  but not anymore.
ah...  but maybe she shouldnât have said that.  it was normal for girls to become insecure that their boyfriends were looking elsewhere, wasnât it?  the idea of junpei having eyes for anyone but chidori, especially when it came to their own team, was so ridiculous that she hadnât even considered it.   â youâre very lovely too, chidori-san, â   she adds with a gentle smile, and she means it.
the smile falters as soon as chidori asks her next question. Â someone special? Â someone aigis felt for in the way that junpei and chidori felt for each other? Â a name immediately comes to mind, but it can only sit uselessly on the tip of her tongue, unsaid.
unable to bring herself to meet chidoriâs eyes anymore, aigis looks down for a long moment. Â to say that there was no one would be wholly a lie, and yet, did it even matter anymore? Â aigis knew that she would hold onto her feelings for her until the day she ceased to exist, but to anyone else, she was already dead and gone.
