Summary: When an akuma attacks during Adrien Agreste's beach themed photoshoot on a dreary day in Paris, Ladybug is on the scene immediately. Unfortunately, with a glimpse of Adrien's alluring abdomen and without her partner, it's not long before she's hit, and Adrien with her—but maybe Ladybug can afford a little vacation with the boy she loves. He's certainly not complaining.
Marinette just happens to be strolling by the park on a dreary, overcast afternoon that may or may not be reserved for a Gabriel™ photoshoot, not that she knows anything about that because she is just very conveniently walking by when the akuma attack happens, which is how Ladybug is on the scene so quickly, not because she heard Adrien would be modeling swimwear and was trying to catch a glimpse, or anything. She just thought it might be a nice day for a walk, given that the weather is—well, the weather is terrible, actually, and Marinette privately thinks that maybe Gabriel Agreste should’ve rescheduled his beach-themed photoshoot to a different afternoon.
She suspects the akuma victim might agree, given that the screaming starts shortly after the weather goes from “cloudy with a chance” to “absolute downpour.”
Ladybug arrives just in time to catch the Gorilla tucking a large, fluffy towel around Adrien, which is fine, because she isn’t hoping to see his bare chest today at all, nope, and she’s not going to focus on how cute he looks all wrapped up, like a wet kitten.
Which reminds her of another kitten, one that should be here helping her fight the akuma.
Where is that cat? Ladybug thinks to herself as she narrowly dodges another beam of light.Â
Sure, she’s fought without him just fine in the past, and really, she’s only been at this for about 3 minutes, tops, but still –Adrien is here! And in danger!
