THE PHONE THAT XAVIER HAD GIFTED TO WEDNESDAY had already become a source of problems, but that was a mystery for another time and as she sat the phone down on the seat next to her, she let her eyes shift to the scenery outside the car.

She still had nearly six hours of travel ahead of her; a trip that was going to prove quite long. At least on the trip to Nevermore, Wednesday had Morticia and Gomez professing their love for nearly seven hours and Pugsley smacking on food up front next to a stiff Lurch. Traits that constantly annoyed her, but brought her an unrelenting joy at the same time.

But with the quiet, Wednesday had found herself thinking back to the previous weeks events and how it all had escalated with the death of Principle Weems and nearly her own demise at the hands of both Tyler Galpin, a boy she nearly let her decrepit little heart enjoy, and a zombie pilgrim that had given her nasty and painful wounds to both her stomach and shoulder. But it was these wounds, along with the one on her hand and head, that she would put her focus into for the next six hours, because the physical anguish felt better than dealing with the mental torture of it all. Goody Addams may have given her a second chance at life, but she could still feel the blade as it entered her small frame and left her regretting all the cruel things she had said to Morticia, Gomez, Pugsley, Uncle Fester, Thing, and even Enid and Principle Weems...

Leaning forward by hour three, Wednesday spoke up, "Lurch, I request that we make a stop at the next exit. A bathroom break is necessary as is food." Resting back against the red suede covered seat, the raven haired teenager gave a firm knock to her backpack alerting Thing to resurface from his slumber.

One of the best days of my entire life was meeting Christina Ricci, who has inspired me from the time I was a little girl until now. I never, in a gazillion years, thought it would be possible, and then in 2019 I got the chance when she came to a convention that was a few hours away. I cried before I met her, held it together, and then cried when I was out of earshot.

I love doing special fx makeup and cosplaying. The person I've cosplayed as the most has been Eleven from Stranger Things, but my other favorite character is Harley Quinn. My next goal is Wednesday Addams.

After losing someone super close in my life, I realized life was too short not to at least embrace it and try the things I've always wanted to try. Those things were roller derby, pro-wrestling, soccer, and going to EMT school. My next goal is voice acting. If you have a dream, just go for it, and even if it doesn't go as planned, you can still say you tried, and that is always something to be proud of!

PLATFORMS USED: Tumblr, sometimes Discord, but I got my start on AOL chat (cause I'm ancient). I've also used Myspace, Livejournal, message boards, Twitter, and a few other now defunct rp sites when Myspace pushed everyone out.

PLOTTING / WINGING IT / MEMES: I love to plot, because it gives me an idea of where I'm going with my character. Sometimes winging it can be fun, but I have to be in the right mood for it. I'm not the biggest fan of open starters, because I feel like they can get redundant. And memes can also be a good jumping off point and spark muse, if I'm in the right headspace and feeling creative.

LEAST FAVOURITE FACECLAIM(S): Blake Jenner is the biggest one, and usually it takes someone having done something in real life (like Blake Jenner) that makes me not care to interact with certain FCs. Otherwise, I'm pretty easy going for the most part, because I can usually see past the FC, if the mun has done something shitty.

FROM DAY ONE AT NEVERMORE ACADEMY, Wednesday had insisted on sitting alone during lunch. However, as much as she had longed for the solitude to people watch in peace, it never came. But today was different. With her obnoxious roommate out of the picture, the raven haired teen was free to sit quietly with her food and peer through hollow eyes at every one of her peers, studying them and their habits, in case she needed the knowledge to use against them one day.

It was when she laid eyes on the other 'new girl' that she gave pause and lingered. She had taken notice of her quite frequently, when she could, but had no desire to speak to her. Not until today.

IT WAS THE SAME OLD THING. Someone's dog had gone missing. They couldn't find their lucky rabbit's foot. Their favorite cd had been misplaced. Wednesday was getting tired of the monotony and had longed for something gruesome. Something where she could really dig in and get her hands dirty. Preferably by using a shovel in the middle of the night. When she had decided to join the local Junior League of the Citizen Detectives, she hadn't expected it to be so...lackluster.

"I swear. If I have to hear one more complaint of little Suzie's cat missing, I'm going to stick hot needles in my eyes." Maybe she still would when she was released from the local prison for teenagers also known as Wiskayok High School. "Walter, please tell me there is something worth investigating in that pile of waste." She shifted her eyes towards him waiting for an answer.

IT WAS STARTING TO BECOME WELL KNOWN BY MANY that within the first few months Wednesday and her brother, Pugsley, set foot in the halls of any public school something bad would happen and the pair of Addams children would be sent on their way leaving Morticia and Gomez scrambling to find another avenue of education. Unfortunately for Wednesday, and assured by her parents, this would be her last opportunity, before being sent off to Nevermore Academy if their beloved daughter didn’t make more of an effort to stay out of trouble.

Earning the opportunity early with a class project on the history of Spain, Wednesday found herself standing outside her project partner, Callie’s house, while Lurch sat in the Addams’ family car. With a firm wrap of her knuckles on the door, the girl waited quietly, until she heard a “Coming!” and scurried feet moving frantically towards the front of the house, along with some other words being mumbled just low enough that Wednesday couldn’t make them out.

Hands crossed over one another and hanging down at her waist, she made eye contact with the woman she assumed to be Callie’s mom as the door opened up, “I’m here to see Callie. Unfortunately for her, she’s my partner for our history project on Spain.” As she was welcomed into the house, the raven haired girl found herself being guided into the living room, “Make yourself comfortable. Callie should be home shortly.” Great, stuck in a nauseatingly bright house alone. This should be interesting.

Finding a place on the sofa, the tiny girl sat just on the edge of the cushion, back straight as a board with her hands clasped and resting on her lap hoping boredom would allow her to succumb to a slow and miserable death. If she was going to be waiting, she was going to find pleasure in the situation after all.

IT DOESN’T COME AS ANY SURPRISE TO SEE WEDNESDAY in her usual stoic and solemn disposition, she expected it, of course. A simple nod given in the brief acknowledgement that was provided before the young girl continued her way forward and into the home. Glancing over to her husband, they exchanged a quick and similar expression of concern before a hand is placed upon Pugsley’s back, all three of them soon following Wednesday inside. With Lurch tending to the bags, Morticia made a simple gesture towards the rest of the family that she would take care of checking in on Wednesday in the meantime. There was no need for bombardment, but even Morticia could sense there was something deep lingering within her daughter’s psyche that the girl was holding back even from herself. Some time had passed before the matriarch finally stood outside of the bedroom door, a quick knock to announce her presence and then slowly turning the knob. ❝ Wednesday…? ❞ Voice remained calmed and collective upon opening the door. Whether Wednesday liked it or not, there were still many questions that needed to be answered. Though she wouldn’t ask them all at once nor demand a response right away, the most important thing was that her child had survived but on the other hand, she had just gone through a rather traumatic experience that nearly got her killed. As a mother, it was Morticia’s duty to make sure she was alright in every sense of the word. A near death experience without any comeuppance, that must not have been easy.

THE HOUSE APPEARED and smelled the same. One never grew tired of Grandmama's cooking. Though Wednesday did notice a few new cobwebs as she climbed the stairs to her bedroom. Being away from so many people had come as a relief. And as much as her technicolor haired roommate had grated on her nerves, which she occasionally enjoyed, Wednesday did find herself holding onto an unfamiliar longing for something...no, someone. Enid. One might even say she had felt...concern for the werewolf. Hearing a knock at the door, Wednesday's eyes darted sharply to the sound before narrowing, " It seems we have a visitor, Thing. " Shifting back to the disembodied hand, who was sitting next to her backpack on the bed, the raven haired girl spoke, " An expected one, of course. " With a sharp sigh, she rendered permission to the woman standing outside her door, " You may enter, Mother. "

Wednesday kept her eyes to the floor refusing to look Morticia in the eyes. It was a rare occurrence, but one that was warranted for the fear of unwanted emotions escaping. Instead, the teenager decided to busy herself with the meaningless task of cleaning out a backpack that contained Thing's cuticle care cream, lotion, clear nail polish, and a buffer. All items Wednesday suspected Enid had snuck into her backpack, including a handwritten note with her name on it that came as more of a shock than anything. Not the time, Enid... Even hundreds of miles away, her nosey roommate still seemed to get under her skin.

"Love is a complex formula of chemicals our bodies stimulate when we see something pleasing to the eye. Whether it's the perfect symmetry of my face or a love for a disembodied hand, such as Thing, I can guarantee that what you are currently experiencing right now will dissipate when you are out of my presence and staring at the next enticing person or object.
