Hannu Huhtamo is one of my favorite Lightpainters. He produces very original and creative photos that take us directly to another world.

On the LIGHTS FROM DREAMS blog we had the pleasure to talk to him about his passion, how it all started and learn a little bit about how he goes about making such beautiful images.

A couple of weeks ago, while i was jogging in the forest near our home, i found out a cool looking Teepee hidden close to one of the many paths.

I thought it would be a cool subject for a light painting because there was a cool eerie felling about it, so that night i went back with my camera and a couple of lights and, after some experimentation, i got this photo:

Camera: Canon 60D

Lens: Tamron 28-75mm @ 28mm

Lights: Strobe, colored gels and a custom-made light tool  (around the trees)

I got some very strange looks from some people who passed by, bumped my head a couple of times, got some now scratches and really dirty clothes, but making this photo was lots of fun. If i would do it again i would probably do a couple of things differently, but i guess that is how we learn...

And i would really love to know what you think about it!     =)
