Pit

Finished last semester about a week ago and instantly got sick lol. But I’m happy with my grades and I had a week to just chill. The new semester started yesterday and I’ll be writing my master’s thesis. My favourite professor told me she’d be my supervisor so I’m super excited! I’ll start posting more regular updates when I start writing for real. Right now I’m trying to find some interesting material to write about. It feel surreal that I’ll be graduating in June!

Sorry for not posting in a while! I’ve been very busy with uni and holidays. Only had time to take 3 days off for Christmas :(. But I’ve finished all my papers for this semester! Now I only have two oral exams, a short assignment and a presentation left. Also it’s been snowing a lot!

Didn’t study much last week so really have to do more now otherwise I’ll have to study during Christmas :/ might start posting weekly updates

The last of my 100 days! I think posting (almost) every day has helped me stay more accountable to my studied and pushed me to do more. I think I’ll continue posting pretty regularly but maybe with more pictures and less writing. Today felt like a good last day. Got up early to attend mass and study. Then spent the evening resting and prepping for the coming week. I also got my grade for the last paper I handed in and the professor left some really nice notes!

Took a day off yesterday and did absolutely nothing because I had no energy. Today was a bit better. Ballet class was fun and I think I have a new idea for my thesis! Gonna try to get up early for mass tomorrow and then study at a cafe.

Thought I wouldn’t get a lot done today but somehow (with the help of way too much caffeine) I got into a writing flow in the afternoon and stayed at the library until 7pm. The seminar was also really fun I love the professor we have right now! Tomorrow I’m gonna try to finish the paper I’m writing.

It was snowing today as I left the library and the sun sets at 3pm now. It’s been a bit hard to keep myself motivated as it’s getting colder and darker but I’m hoping the snow will make the evenings at least a bit brighter. Tomorrow I have to get up early for a seminar then I have an oral exam in the afternoon.

Went to mass this morning and then straight to the library to study. Met some friends for lunch and had a quite slow afternoon and evening. Also got the final draft to one of the phd students dissertations which we’ll be discussing during the research seminar next week. Really looking forward to reading it!

Had a very chill day today. I’ve finished all my reading for next week so I can start writing some papers. I’ve also gotten much better at stretching regularly recently and I’m starting to feel the difference it’s making. Trying to strengthen my feet and ankles as well.

It’s starting to get really cold now and really need a warmer coat and proper shoes. Spent most of the day freezing. Other than that I had a good day. Ballet class was fun but difficult as usual.

Slept in today as well but still managed to get some stuff done. Went on a short walk to buy soap etc. Also decided to treat myself to a face mask so now I’m gonna calm down and do some self care

Overslept this morning because my phone died so I decided to stay home today. Also feeling a bit sick so studying was quite slow today. I have a novel as assigned reading for next week and I decided to start on that because it felt less heavy than the non-fiction course literature.

Tried to take an aesthetic picture and then realising what chapter I’m reading lol. Another kinda slow day today I think I’m starting to get sick. Still I finished reading one book so I’ll hopefully start writing about it tomorrow. I also started reading Literature after Feminism by Rita Felski which seems interesting so far but the text is so small it hurts my eyes :/

Didn’t get a lot done yesterday because I had a horrible headache all day (and maybe a fever). But I did start reading for the second part of my literature course. I also received two books in the mail that I need for a different course.

Had a nice and calm day today. Spent the morning reading and then had a super interesting lecture. We’re watching a movie in class tomorrow and got assigned some reading in preparation. And our professor has written notes in the document but I can’t for the life of me figure out what she’s written? I can’t even tell what language it is in lol I think it’s English? Maybe?
