partyboybiliusâ:
Bilius laughed when Jasper groaned. Imagine how he felt. âNah, donât worry mate. I could deal with those alone. I just needed your help with all the big stuff and we managed to transport all of them. Itâs just the little things remaining.â Not to mention the stuff that he had already given away. Bilius was incredibly grateful for Jasperâs help and he didnât want to abuse his generosity at all. âI definitely owe you a favor.â
âOh Merlin, I donât even know. I try not to ask customers things that I donât want to know. Even if Iâm near enough to eavesdrop, usually I just block it out. Is that just me?â You wouldnât want your client to suspect that you were eavesdropping now, would you? âReally now?â Hearing that Jasper didnât really have crazy stories to tell surprised him. âMaybe I was just unlucky that dayâŚâ Bilius did have the worst of luck. He tried having his tea leaves read once by someone who was supposedly talented in divination, thinking that it was just all for fun. What he got instead were warnings about ill fates and a black dog. He laughed at it then but now? Maybe Biliusâ life was cursed.
âiâm glad we got all the major stuff, then. at least you can apparate a few bags and boxes at a time.â his head lolled over to the side, giving a shit-eating grin to bilius.  âtotally safe to do that several times in a day, right? canât see how it could possibly go wrong.â for a moment, his mind went back to apparition lessons in hogwarts. how much could you take with you? as much as you could carry? or was there a weight limit.  âah, donât worry about it. iâm sure itâll all even out someday, if it hasnât already.â
jasper considered what bilius had to say. he didnât know if it was just him, but it certainly wasnât jasper. while he never really planned to obtain information, he definitely didnât shy away from it when he heard it. maybe he was nosy. maybe it was a defense mechanism. he tried not to think on it too much.  âgood on you. i tend to ask too many questions and get myself in trouble. i just like to know the customer, is all.â that was certainly one way of putting it.  âi try not to spend too much time in the crowds if iâm not performing.â jasperâs gaze fell to his glass on the table.  âyou know, itâs weird, sometimes. seeing people i used to know. hell, itâs probably weirder for them, but still.â
