Lucifer:

♡ Going up to Lucifer and asking for cuddles in the middle of the day wouldn't be the best choice as he'd be busy and highly stressed. He's less likely to be angry about being interrupted if you catch him still working past midnight or if he's excluding himself when his brothers are all hanging out. Only then does he sulk for a little bit before following you to a comfortable surface to cuddle.

♡ He likes being the bigger spoon as it means he's the one that gets to protect you, but sometimes he just craves you holding him tight since it lets him know you're there and not going to vanish from the tight grip he has around you.

♡ Lucifer's the type to have a calming soundtrack in the background, which doesn't just have to be his classical music. Sometimes the rain or thunder outsides is good enough background noise. But if there was music playing, you could potentially catch him humming close to your ear if you stay quiet enough.

♡ Is insanely careful when cuddling you in the morning or middle of the day, since his brothers are much more likely to either of you out for something stupid like a vase breaking or a fire starting in the hallway. It's infuriating for their eldest brother, knowing they have magic to fix their own problems and he wants to spend his free time with you. You can feel his heartbeat quicken and his grip tighten when footsteps approach his bedroom door.

Lucifer

"You don't flinch away when I raise my hand in other situations; are you scared, little one?"

As ridiculous as it sounds, he's actually offended. You have never flinched away from him, never been upset enough to cry because of him. Surely you wouldn't believe that he'd actually hit you, do you? He's not even sure why he raised his hand, but he highly doubts it was because he wanted it to come down on you. Lucifer will be in such denial and seeing as he didn't make contact with your skin, he's telling himself that you have no proof that he'd do such a thing. Still, he is suddenly giving you space, giving gifts and taking you out to your favorite places. His pride won't let him admit out loud that perhaps it could have been, because it wasn't, but he's afraid to see you walk away, anyway.

Mammon

"Did ya... did ya think i was gonna hit you?!"

Okay maybe he was losing his cool a bit, maybe it weren't just words that cut anymore, maybe he wanted to cut physically... but he sees the tears and the fear and he just freezes, hand still up in the air. Immediately, he's overcome by regret and guilt and his hand is visibly shaking at the mere thought that he could've, potentially, lost control. He'll apologize profusely, swear on his life that he would never do such a thing but in the middle of the night, he's plagued by dreams that confirm his worst fears.

Leviathan

"I-it's not what you think, I... I wouldn't... why did you keep arguing?!"

Stuck between guilt and defense. Levi knows he's got power beyond your human comprehension, knows he could obliterate you with a single thought, but you're the first person he's ever genuinely felt connected to so why would he ever want to hurt you? Right, the argument... he doesn't even remember how it started but he knows too damn well how it ended. Both of you are frozen in place, completely in shock as he stammers to get words out of his mouth. He would never hurt something so precious to him and before you know it, you're wrapped up tightly in his embrace, with no way to escape, all while he's sobbing himself.

Satan

"You're dating the Avatar of Wrath, what did you expect?!"

But even as those words leave his mouth, he knows they're not right. You bring a sense of calm to him, have a way to dull the burning rage inside and turn it into something beautiful... still, wrath is always beneath the surface, the anger always simmers even if it's dulled by you. You had a bad day, he had a worse day, things escalated. But the look of sheer fear in your face, fear of him, sobered him up pretty quickly. He's apologizing, dropping his hand to his side all while clenching his fists. He wants to reach out, wipe away the tears and cradle you in his arms... but he resist, not sure if he has the right anymore. For the first time in forever, Satan doesn't have the knowledge of how to fix this.

Asmodeus

"Love, no.. no, I'm so sorry, I-I didn't...."

Once. Asmodeus has raised his hand once before against someone else and swore to himself that he'd never do it again, didn't need to as one of the seven princes. He loved people, pleasured them beyond comprehension, made them cry tears of joy not... not whatever had transpired here. He hesitates, looking like a beaten puppy. His hand reaches out tentatively, slowly, not wanting to scare you further. Sweet, soothing words leave his mouth and when he does touch you, it's with a gentleness and care that you haven't known before, all while begging for your forgiveness.

Beelzebub

"Do NOT test me, MC, I--...!"

He notices himself the moment his hand comes up. Anger is surging through him like it never has before and it comes crushing down like the biggest tsunami rammed into him. He just raised his hand. At you. His eyes are wide, locked with your beautiful ones that are now filling up with tears and shock. The room is so silent that you could hear a pin drop, but Beel swears he can feel his own heart break into a million pieces. One moment. One moment of anger getting out of hand is all it took for your trust in him to shatter to the ground and the pain he felt from it was worse than anything he ever felt. He drops to his knees, making himself smaller for you so you won't run away in fear all while looking up at you with pleading, tear filled eyes to please not leave him.

"I have killed you, MC, does this really shock you?"

mammon is still your dumbass best friend who takes you out the casino because he swears you’re the luckiest person he’s ever met. he still whines and complains about stupid shit to you like getting scammed or getting in trouble for another one of his schemes. he still holes up for movie nights in your room every night there’s no work to be done the next day. he still holds pride in the fact that he was the first demon to see how amazing you are and make a pact about it. (don’t bring up how that pact came to be for your own sake. he still sulks like a madman!!)

leviathan still watches shows and plays games with you. he still farms on your accounts for you so you can pull for that one character you really like. he still stays holed up in his room with you counting the clock to midnight, preparing for the next merch drop with plans to clear out the whole shop. he still trusts you with his insecurities and vulnerabilities, enough to be sincere and genuine in his excitement when talking to you. he still opens up to you because you will always be his Henry no matter what.

satan still takes you to cat cafes and holds a two person book club with you. he still helps you study when you need it and even when you don’t. he still barges into your room to bitch about his latest annoyance. he still trusts you with the parts of himself that he still isn’t sure is really him or maybe a remnant of his brother left inside him by mistake. still makes sure not to let anyone disrespect you in class, because if they do they only have three seconds to run.

asmodeus still drags you to his self care nights. slathers a face mask on you and shares the latest gossip and drama. still buys you pretty things that he thought would look nice on you, or reminded him of you. he still makes sure no one’s talking behind your back, makes sure that you’re doing okay. he’s still comfortable enough to vegetate with you, and let down all pretenses and masks; you are always going to be someone he is comfortable baring himself to. he’ll still freak out with you over stupid shit you’re excited about and he’ll still make sure you’re always good with yourself, kind to yourself.

beelzebub still takes you out to eat and clear out buffets with him weekly. he still invites you to his matches personally. he still gets excited when he sees you show up even though you’ve been attending his games consistently for years now. he still tells you about his brothers and his’ time in the celestial realm. he’ll still tell you about his sister and love you enough to feel comfortable to grieve in front of you. he still makes sure you’re always eating enough—he’s gotta make sure you’re taking care of yourself, yknow? he also still eats your leftovers even when you explicitly tell him not too. sorry. :(

belphegor still takes you to the planetarium when things are getting too much. he takes your nightmares away. makes sure you sleep well. he still drags you down for a nap whenever he feels like it. he still tells you about how he misses his sister, about how he misses his brothers sometimes even though they’re still here, just different. he still trusts you enough to admit that sometimes, he misses himself, and who he was before all this. and then after all that, he still flicks you on the nose and calls you annoying because before he is an avatar of sin he is the spoiled baby of the family, and he knows you’ll always be there to snark right back.

sorry it just. moves me. like you truly do become a part of these seven guys’ found family no matter what. even if you reject every single possible romance option they will still love you and protect you and look out for you and snap at you and annoy you and not even be sorry about it. because you are special to them!!! you will always be someone important to them!!!!

The Morningstar has Faded.

The question is what becomes of the remaining eldest brothers?

🪶 Mammon took over as head of the house, being the second eldest. He’s terrified because he can’t compare to Lucifer and he’s devastated because this never should’ve happened to them again. He was Lucifer’s eyes and he blames himself for not being able to discover that Diavolo was omitting so much about the MC and their volatile magic.

🪶 Though usually patient and compassionate, Mammon became more ruthless after Lucifer died. He was protective over his “horde” which was his family, and he was less agreeable with Diavolo than Lucifer was. Any threat that the Prince and his Butler typically made were often squashed with guilt. (“Yer threatenin’ me now? It ain’t enough that my older brother’s dead cuz of you?”)

🪶 To protect his little brothers, he still complied with Devildom Laws.. but not in the same manner as Lucifer. Rather than find and uproot illegal groups around the kingdom, Mammon wrangled them in and controlled them. He essentially became a crime boss that dispatched his thugs to get Diavolo’s orders done.

🪶 Levi became to Mammon what Mammon was to Lucifer, a right-hand man. The two had their disagreements prior but when Lucifer died, they both had the same thought; the little brothers were under their care now.

🪶 Levi knew he couldn’t isolate himself to cope, because he knew Mammon would struggle and worse, crumble. Though the navy remained inactive, he still had the means to hunt down people that was on the royal hit list. Even if it meant crossing the seas. Satan would usually be a good asset for investigating but he doesn’t want his little brother to shoulder this burden.

🪶 Neither him nor Mammon treat the Royals with friendliness. He isn’t as aggressive as Mammon but he’s despondent and will go on a tangent about how unfair it was that Lucifer was gone.

🪶 Levi laments that he couldn’t make Lucifer proud before he passed. He stuck some of his black feathers to his admiral’s badge and keeps it on every time.

🪶 The two of them often go to Lucifer’s grave and share a bottle of Demonus, always pouring it a little bit over the soil so big brother could join. He always did love the liquor.

🪶 The younger brothers noticed that Mammon has become increasingly more honest about his feelings to them, and sometimes he just pats them with a faraway look in his eyes, somber. They know he’s so tired and still in disbelief that their family lost a second sibling.

🪶 They’ve also learned to not push Levi. Mammon may be the emotional intelligence and diffuser when it comes to fights but Levi can be the forceful one (partly cuz he isn’t good with the emotional part) that wrangles them in place when they get physical.

🪶 They both reassure the MC that they don’t blame them and it is never ever their fault. But they’re more protective now since the dagger was used to sever the pacts and they’re more anxious that the MC could die if they so much as looked away for 5 minutes.

🪶 They don’t let the MC meet Diavolo alone, ever again. The crows have stopped acknowledging the Prince. The waters at every private beach he ever owned are constantly threatening to sink the island whole.

he grinds in equally desperate measure, rolling his hips until he reaches your deepest part. he's not gentle. the force of it pushes you down into the mattress in a way that almost forces the air from your lungs. and when he holds it, buried to the hilt, he's so heavy and so deep inside that you convulse beneath him, croaking out something incomprehensible.

"where's my good girl?" he grunts into your neck as he humps your ass—thick muscular thighs tensing either side of you. "so naughty all day.... where'd gege's good little girl go?"

his fingers invade your mouth again, already slick with drool from the way he intermittently plays with your tongue. it stops you attempting to answer. he doesn't need an answer. he knows you get him riled up like this on purpose; he knows sometimes you just want to cry buried under his heavy body and forget everything else. brainless and wordless; empty entirely besides your big bother's throbbing cock.

Lucifer hadnt noticed it at first.

Life had slowed down in a way he never thought it would, there was no constant emergencies, no late night paperwork stacked to the ceiling and no brothers bursting into his study every five minutes. Retirement suited him more than he’d ever admit, Mornings were unhurried Meals were regular. You cooked together, ate together, lingered at the table just talking about random stuff. Sometimes he’d sit beside you on the couch for hours, doing absolutely nothing, perhaps even humoring you and letting you play with his wings while he lay on your lap and for once, that felt… good. So the changes came quietly. A little more softness around his waist, His shirts fitting just slightly tighter than before. His face rounding out, prideful sharpness replaced with something warmer, something softer. He chalked it up to age, to peace. He didnt dwell on it too much.

Until that night.

You’d just showered together, the steam still clinging to the bathroom mirrors. Lucifer was in that familiar mood you loved. low voice, teasing touches and that confident sinful smile he used to undo you every time. He reached for you while murmuring something smooth and dangerous… and then he caught his reflection im the mirror.

He froze in shock.

The man staring back wasnt the perfectly sculpted Avatar of Pride he remembered, the man he was used to seeing in the mirror for millions of years. His stomach was soft now, no longer flat and carved but plush and real. His jawline that was once razor sharp had softened, a faint double chin visible when he tilted his head and His body looked… lived in. For a long moment, he just stared at himself. You noticed immediately the way his shoulders stiffened, the way his expression shifted with uncertainty flickering where confidence usually lived. You stepped closer without a word wrapping your arms around him from behind and pressing a kiss to his shoulder.

“Youre beautiful” you said gently, like it was the most obvious thing in the world. And to you…it was. He scoffed softly but there was no bite to it. “I no longer resemble pride incarnate”

“In that case, I’ll hold a funeral they can attend. So they’ll think you’re gone forever.”
