"Oh, look at that. The clone is awake again," Bambino cooed. "No verbal reaction, though--are you telling me that the voltage is already high enough that you cannot speak?" He scoffed out a laugh. "How utterly pathetic."
Il Bambino looked into the chamber, his rage not yet satisfied. No, it was a rage that couldn't be satisfied--but Il Bambino was nothing if he didn't try.
"Now--let's try prolonged exposure to Electro," he started, slowly cranking up the dial once again. "Your upper limit for shorter jolts was pathetic, but maybe if we try the 'boiled frog' method, you'll withstand the current for longer. I'll start you at thirty, leave it for an hour, and then turn it up a notch. Rinse and repeat."
And Bambino did just that--for however many hours it took, he once again tortured Dottore until Dottore's mind shut down. He proceeded to wordlessly write some useless data on his clipboard before he started the revival process again.
And again. And again. And again.
For one-hundred and twenty eight revivals, there was one-hundred and twenty eight deaths. Some of the blatant torture was short in comparison to others, but Bambino knew--for Dottore, there was no respite.
It was a non stop hell. No--it was something he knew was beyond hell.
Eventually, however, even Il Bambino grew bored of it. His rage was not yet satisfied, but his childish instincts demanding a change--and in the end, there was a reason why he decided to revive this arrogant clone.
So on the one-hundred and twenty ninth revival, he only used jist enough Electro current to revive Dottore, dropping the current to zero when he would breathe once more.
"I think that's enough of a lesson," he announced when Dottore finally came to again. "Now you know what happens when you sacrifice everyone of us but yourself for a useless cause. I'm sure the adult segments who can't be revived would have loved to do worse."
Bambino put down his clipboard, scowling intensely at Dottore.
"But enough of that. You were murdered, right?" Bambino moved closer to the pod, his glare intensifying. "Who did it? Who could have possibly killed you, and nearly ended our entire existence?"
