A lot of forgers have been making gunwitch characters, recently. I felt inspired and decided to make one as well. I tried to channel Annie Oakley, Salem Massachusetts, and Gilgamesh from the Fate series (only with guns....lots of guns).

About a year ago I was just messing around and created a tiefling barbarian based off a community pose resource. She farmed so much aura that I ended up making builds for her in multiple different systems and wrote at least 10 pages of backstory. She is at the top of my "want to play" list, and I just had to revisit her and see if I could improve on the design.
A good while ago, I read the Forgotten Realms Campaign guide for 3rd edition DnD. In it, there was a section about ancient elven kingdoms and three "elf blades". One of them was called the Artblade. It looked cool, and sense then I've always wanted to make a character who wielded it. Fast forward to 5th edition and we were given the Hexblade, who's patron is a sentient weapon. After that, I came up with this character. Her name is Elaestra and she is a college of swords bard/ hexblade. Like all of my characters I never get to play (sad forever GM noises), I have an extremely long backstory for her that I can use to torture anyone foolish enough to let me talk about it!
Here are a couple of Magik minis I made. She's been my favorie X-Men character for a long time now. The first is a recreation of the Iron Studios figure. I wanted to see how close I could get to it with Hero Forge. The second is an original costume I designed. I think it still fits her style and is something different than what we've seen her in.
While I was trying out a new resource for over the shoulder cloaks, I came up with this character. I'm currently calling her Griselda the Great. I feel there is an unfortunate lack of elderly women in adventuring roles. Hopefully this inspires more people to make elderly characters. We need more lady Gandalfs!

This is my 3rd attempt at making Gideon from the Locked Tomb series in Hero Forge. I'm not sure how far apart these are. The first one was made before kitbashing came out, and the second one is from sometime last year.
After cracking open my 4th edition books recently, I thought it would be fun to design a Shadar Kai Swordmage. They're kinda known for wearing a lot of black, and I really had to explore shades and textures to offset the monochromatic style. I didn't want her to be a complete edgelord, so I gave her a pop of color.
I had a blast playing Hades II and wanted to challenge myself with her ghostly arm. I ended up using an inverted tail wrapped around the skeleton arm. I'm pretty pleased with the effect, I just wish the arm bones could be smaller.
I call this one "Uppies". I was inspired by an art piece by Jess Jones that came across my feed and tried to recapture it with some original characters of my own.
