Shit in my mind

Harry and Ron know about the basilisk when they find a page of a book describing it in Hermione’s  hand right? I refuse to believe Hermione ripped a page of a book, even less, damage a school-property? It’s rather more believable that she was carrying the book all the way. But noooo, it is a major plot point, so yeah....

The thing is that i thought that the guy could skip through bad times in his life, right? (it is later explain that is when he goes in “autopilot”). So i thought, if he was going to skip all the bad times in his life (arguments, sickness, etc.) he might skip depression too, right? i immediately decided against it, because then the movie might lasted 5 minutes....

is this friendzoning or what?
