MKII Pirelli ed. Coupe build

Finally ready to put this in the coupe after swapping out the 5th gear to the 0.76 from the early trans. 🤘🏻 Now just to clean up the rest of the bay some more.

Dummy tray for where the battery used to be, and the big stock battery in its new home.

So tonight I finished up making my dummy battery tray, and some of the wiring to my new positive post. Then I pulled my clutch apart to find tonnnnsss of clutch material & also the thrust plate retaining clip had moved and wasn't allowing the clutch to fully disengage randomly. That explains the funny pedal height here and there. Looks like I'm ordering a pressure plate next. 🙄

couple of things for the Coupe: 2k Eurethane single-stage spraypaint to fix some spots in my bay, and a fresh "stage 4" clutch disc from Competition Clutch with a bigger hub for the new transmission.

What even is sleep? Out here, test-fitting the new wheels at 1 AM. That's enough for today. I'm super happy with how they look, just need to lower the front a tad. 🙏🏻The car is going back under the knife to get a new transmission and some other goodies next.

Some changes are coming for the coupe for this season, bigger brakes and a new transmission will be one of them.
