Bro! Check This Out!
Commission: Elation | Ifa & Ororon
The streets of Inazuma City were bustling as the midday hour rush had hit. Making the plaza feel a little claustrophobic with the great influx of people walking to and fro to the sound of their own drum, but it doesn't deter Ororon in the slightest as he excitedly weaved his way through the narrow cobblestone paths. Bypassing the various different types of shops and wares out on display that would have piqued his interest, if he wasn't already dead set on getting to the outskirts of the city. Hearing many a tale of the various great plots of the land that locals in the area had reserved for planting their own vegetable gardens.
And he had questions. Lots of questions, and who better to ask than fellow gardeners like himself? Though, Ororon already knows that because of the different environments that both Inazuma and Natlan harbor respectfully, it would be nigh almost impossible to perfectly replicate the advice he would receive for his own efforts, but it vastly did not discourage his fire one bit as it would 1. be fascinating to know, and 2. it could be valuable information to add to the hoard of scrolls they had back at the Master's of the Night Wind! Which, to him, sounds like a win-win in his books!
"Come on, you guys!" Ororon turns his head back towards his two vacation buddies that he, more or less, dragged here in his overeagerness. Completely, turning himself around to keep both Ifa and Cacucu in line of sight of him in a reckless attempt to keep communicating with the vet. Not in the slightest paying attention to his surroundings as he begins to walk backwards. "The gardens are down this way, I believe! Let's-Oof-"
Rather harshly, Ororon's back is unexpectantly shoved that almost had the young man face plant on the cobblestone if it hadn't been for his fast reflexes. Swiftly, he rights himself, and pivots himself to see who exactly he ran into to apologies, but didn't get the chance as an older gentleman gets right up in his face with panic written all over his face.
"You! Have you seen someone running off with a crate labeled as 'fireworks', or anything else of the sort?!"
The bat barely opens his mouth before the man is speaking again.
"Oh no. Oh no, no, no! I am so fired!" The older gentleman placing his hands on his face as a clear sigh of distress. "I have to go find the thieves, I must-" Already beginning to walk away.
"Wait! Gramps! Hold on, slow down!" Trying to get through to the inconsolable man.

Commission: Preservation | Hyacine & Ororon
Hyacine giggled at the other’s reply. The fastest Pegasus anyone will see! She believed she’d seen him on occasion, one of the volunteers? While she was helping with health check ups, he was on guard duty. Two distinct roles that very rarely had any overlap. This would be one of those rare times.
“He is,” she affirmed, pride overflowing in her voice, “very helpful too. He’ll work well as our scout, don’t worry.”
Not that the other seemed all too concerned but seeming and being were two different feelings. That and it was kind of difficult not to worry in a situation as this. She returned his smile with one of his own.
“Nice to meet you too, Orrie! I’m Hyacinthia but you can call me Hyacine,” she, like Orrie, returned her focus upon the poachers ahead. Little Ica proved to be, as always, a phenomenal distraction. Still… her eyes focused solely upon the little one. Being handled with such roughness… it was as if the poachers had no sense at all.
She knew Little Ica could pack a punch if he so desired but the thought of hurting the little one even more was enough to deter both from the idea. Think, Hyacine, think! Her eyes darted around the unfamiliar surroundings. She hoped Orrie knew his way around the area, else they’d be more than lost after all this. Maybe I could use my bubbles? I don’t know how big of a distraction they would serve however…
Her gaze drifted to Orrie as he spoke. She hummed in thought. “Little Ica is quite strong, don’t let his size fool you, but I don’t… wait, water?” She smiled, bright and confident. If it were possible, Orrie might’ve seen sparkles around her.
“I have an idea, it may be a little risky, however, so if you don’t think it will work, please let me know. We can figure something else out, I’m sure,” she lifted her wand for the other to see, “I can create bubbles with my wand and not ones that will pop in an instant. I think I could distract him long enough for you to take the little one out of his hands as Little Ica pushes him into the water. Do you think that’d work?”
'Wait. Like an actual wand? Like the ones in those popular Inazuman light novels? That's so cool!' Eyes widening in fascination as he tries to catch a glimpse of the instrument in question, but instantly reigns himself back in. Reminding himself of the dire circumstances at hand, and shoves it to the back of his mind to ask about later to lock in. Nodding in agreement to Miss Hyacine's mentioned plan, seeing no faults in it.
"I think so. If you and Ica are able to make a great distraction like that, there's no doubt in my mind that we can get back the baby koholasaur. I'll be at the ready when the plan goes into motion, so just say the word, and I'll be there to back you guys up." Taking a deep breath to calm his already rapidly beating heart as he gets himself ready for what's about to come next.
Let Me Show You The Best In Me
Commission: Elation | Kosma & Ororon
The blizzards that occurred in Belebog were ruthless, if Ororon was allowed to comment. Another round of curses unconsciously flying out of him as he, once again, had to brace due to another strong gust of wind that threatened to knock him over, eyes narrowing to try and keep a line of sight on his surroundings, but even doing just that is turning out to be difficult. After a couple of minutes of trying to gain back his waning resolve, he trudges further into the Snow Plains, keeping his wits about him as he continues the search for Mr. Kough.
Who exactly was he? Ororon wasn't sure, but, apparently, from what he learned from the Silvermane Guards, the man in question had a warrant out for his arrest, and now on the run from the authorities. How the guy managed to escape justice, beats him, but by doing a little a bit of digging on his own, key witnesses reported seeing the gentleman exiting out of the city into the tundra.
Which is how Ororon found himself here. Turning himself into a human equivalent of a popsicle because he wanted to help in some way shape or form due to him sticking back during the battle. He knows, strategically, that it was the best course of action, having some stay with the civilians in the center who couldn't defend themselves, but that feeling still persisted no matter how many times he tried to rationalize it in his mind.
A tired sigh escapes before it turns into one of panic as he felt his feet slide out from underneath him. His arms instinctively shooting out from the warmth of his jacket pockets in a desperate attempt to balance himself, which, thankfully, he managed to do. His eyes immediately dart down after that, inspecting the ground to check for ice, and instantly feels his stomach dropping at the sight that stares right back at him.
A body... Laying lifeless and unmoving in the snow...
The boy stands there for a minute, stunned at the sudden discovery.
'Was this Mr. Kough?'
'What happened?'
Intuitively, his eyes incline up the cliffside wall that was a few feet ahead, desperately trying to gauge anything that could give him some answers, and his eyes widen when it proves fruitful as he spots a singular silhouetted figure standing at the edge.
"Hey! Who are you?!" Ororon shouts up at them, absolutely hoping that the words wouldn't be droned out by the storm going on around them. "You might wanna start making your case right about now, this isn't a good look!" Bracing himself for the worse as he interacts with this suspicious individual, ready to defend himself if they came for him.

Fire Inside Your Head
Commission: Elation | Sunday & Ororon
Fyxestroll Garden was in a state of panic when Ororon arrived at the entrance gates. Loosely clutching onto a map of the Xianzhou Loufu, watching people, who he assumes to be staff, dawned in full armor and blueish looking robes brush past him, filing out one after the other. Not giving the young man a second glance, as they all seem to be in a rush to get to their predetermined destinations. The display, causing Ororon to blink after them in bewilderment, before it morphs into one of worry when he notices the varying degrees of panic that encompassed most of their faces.
'Did something happen?' The young man couldn't help but ask himself, feeling his heart sink in his chest as he observed the chaos that was unfolding around him at this very moment. Overhearing the many hushed murmurs of them talking about a creature, he has never heard of before. A 'Heliobus' they had called it, and by the sounds of it, it doesn't sound very friendly.
"I cannot believe that another one managed to escape out of one of the Suppression Towers... Again! They really need to start double-checking these things more regularly." A noise resembling a scoff is heard, but Ororon's eyes widen at the newly revealed information.
'Escaped?... Are they talking about that creature from before? And what do they mean by again?! This sort of thing has happened once before?!'
"Yeah, but this time unfortunately, a child got caught in the crossfire-" The sentence trailing off as the person gets farther away, but Ororon had heard enough, determination fueling his movements as he grabs the arm of the next person that was just about to step on by him. Not trying to be forceful, but wanting to gain their attention, as he was not able to withstand the uncontrollable storm of emotions anymore that grew with his ever-present confusion.
He turns to face the silver-haired stranger, his inner plight easily read in his demeanor as the begins to speak. "I'm sorry to stop you like this, but what's going on? I just overheard some of these people mention that something called a 'heliobus' is on the loose, and somehow a child is involved in all this? Are they okay? What happened?"

[PLEADING FACE] sender (Rebel) is approached by receiver (Hunter) and makes puppy eyes at them, hoping that the power of friendship will win them over.

Hyacine would have you know that she was not, in fact, the worst at hiding. …Most of the time. Whenever Little Ica had a whim or ten to follow, Hyacine would always be one step behind and below him. This, tragically, meant that it was waaaaaaaaay too likely for her to get caught.
Like right now.
Orrie stood just a bit away from the duo as Hyacine laughed, sheepishly. He seemed like a nice kid, though, so! It was time for a plan that she normally only used on her favourite professor. Desperate times called for desperate measures, however! She glanced at Little Ica who began flying away while Hyacine looked up at Orrie with the saddest face she could muster.
Even if her super-duper-impossible-to-refuse sad face held no water against Orrie, Little Ica would escape (hopefully)! So long as one of them escaped, there was still a chance of success!!
He had just lost the rebel that he had been chasing for quite some time. Letting out a little curse underneath his breath as he watches them basically vanish before his very eyes. The action causing the bat to stop in his tracks to dart his head around, watching and intently listening for anything that might give the individual away, but senses nothing.
Shoot...
Ororon stands there in open clearing, trying to catch his breath from the intense sprint he was doing only a couple of seconds ago before he notices pink in his periphery, whipping his head over to see a couple of familiar faces. Miss Hyacine and Ica! Ororon smiles at the two, but locks in when he sees her companion fly off and begins to run at them with the purpose to capture them!
As he gets closer and closer, he starts to notice the sad look on Miss Hyacine's face and slows down a bit, a confused expression encompassing his face for a second, but it soon turns into one of understanding. Making a quick decision, he runs past her, and turns, running backwards to shout to her.
"I'll be back, alright? This should give you both plenty of time to find a better hiding spot!" Ororon turns once more to right himself, this time, picking up his pace as he sees another rebel in the distance.
[DISGUISE] sender (Rebel A) and receiver (Rebel B) disguise themselves as objects together. Isn’t it kinda funny that you can just turn into a barrel?
⋆˙⟡ ——————— ⟡˙⋆
a challenge for this challenge would to be to hide with another - though it's practically impossible to be allowed to match with someone you know . . . in order to combat this, the princess of condemnation decides that she must find someone to hide with in the preparation part of the match and explain the plan as they hide.
she grabs someone else with an electro visio- ahem. she grabs someone with another ornament that resembles her edelstein der dunkelheit. and she drags the taller man off to a tree nearby one of the heaters.
“ behold my wisdom, carrier of the blessing, hunters scarcely look up. we shall scale the tree and achieve a victory from stagnation. ”
Ororon heart began to race once preparation phase began for this round, looking every which way to try find a clever hiding spot in the couple of precious seconds they had before the hunter was back on the prowl. Just as he was about to head off in one direction, he was unexpectedly grabbed by another and willingly being pulled over to some trees as she explains her plan. Ororon nods along and looks up towards the trees.
"You have a point they rarely do." Thinking back to past hunts where, he had only seen briefly, a few rebels had the same thought. Hide in high places, so you would be a harder target to grab. While he hadn't had the time to properly see if they were successful or not as he was worrying about his own movements than anything else, but the rebels had won most of their rounds when someone did try this strategy.
An excited grin grows on his face as he turns to the blonde-haired girl, mind made up. "Let's do it!" Immediately after, he places his boot on a lower half of the tree and uses it as a boost to reach the nearest branch to them, climbing up, but stopping there once he is situated. Extending a helping hand out to his partner in crime to aid them if they so wish it.
"Need a hand?"
Windtrace / Snowtrace ask meme.
Story has it that, once upon a time, rebels from the City of Mondstadt organized and rose in rebellion against the tyrannical aristocracy. Forming an underground resistance, they were a thorn in the corrupt nobles' side for a long time - all while said nobles retaliated with brutality using their own henchmen.
Today, the history of those difficult and tragic times is preserved in the form of a traditional game. Several locations have been host to the fun and joy of Windtrace - this year, it's the mysterious Dragonspine's turn, causing some to dub the event "Snowtrace".
Young and old, experienced and newcomer, local and traveler - all who want to experience Mondstadt's history and tradition are welcome to join and participate.

[CHAT] sender (Rebel A) and receiver (Rebel B) casually chat while hiding. Surely nothing at all will go wrong and this will have no consequences whatsoever.
[HEAT] sender (Rebel A) and receiver (Rebel B) activate a heat source to warm up, discussing strategy, the moral choices that led someone to organize such an event in this frozen hell, and whatever else comes to their minds.
[ALERT] sender (Rebel A) warns receiver (Rebel B) about the approaching Hunter.
[DISGUISE] sender (Rebel A) and receiver (Rebel B) disguise themselves as objects together. Isn’t it kinda funny that you can just turn into a barrel?

[CAN’T SEE YOU] sender (Hunter) runs right past receiver (Rebel) disguised as an object, failing to recognize them.
[CAN SEE YOU] sender (Hunter) uses Hunter’s Intuition to mark receiver (Rebel) with a light pillar in order to find them. Uh-oh.
[DISPEL] sender (Hunter) dispels the oh so carefully planned disguise of receiver (Rebel). Rude.
[CHASE] sender (Hunter) chases receiver (Rebel) across the whole field to catch them. Haul those buttcheeks buddy!
-
[NOPE] sender (Rebel) uses Transparency to vanish right in front of receiver (Hunter)’s eyes. Results may vary.
[BAIT] sender (Rebel) leaves behind an illusory bait for receiver (Hunter) that, when triggered, throws a buncha snow in their face to blind them. Again, rude.
[GOTCHA] sender (Rebel) is caught by receiver (Hunter).
[PLEADING FACE] sender (Rebel) is approached by receiver (Hunter) and makes puppy eyes at them, hoping that the power of friendship will win them over.
Nothing's What It Seems
Commission: Elation | Vita & Ororon
Ororon had always heard tales about how grandiose the Chasm was. How it was a wide, expansive area of steep looking cliffs and jagged out rock formations that came out of the ground due to a large meteorite impacting the earth’s surface… Or that’s what most of the books and the locals say when he was exploring around the city. Asking as many question as he could to anyone who lend their ear.
A majority of the locals the young man had interacted with have been all but enthusiastic about sharing their customs and stories, that always had Ororon at the edge of his seat. He was eager to take everything in with rapt attention and a willingness to learn everything he could during his indefinite stay. Liyue Harbor has been one of the many places he had dreamed of visiting now that he was able to venture out of Natlan, and he was glad to be able to jump at the chance!
… But with anything new comes new experiences, as a sight like no other literally ran into him as he was making his way back after a quick stroll through the Plains. Unexpectedly, his arm is grabbed, which causes him to freeze on the spot. Ororon was immediately on high alert by this action, and quickly whips his head around to find two Treasure Hoarder's, looking at him with a mixture of both clear desperation and panic written over their faces. Which was a tell-tale difference to their usual smug attitudes.
"Sir! Please, you have to-"
"We don't know what happened! One minute-"
Words flew out of the Treasure Hoarder's mouths that were almost impossible to understand, as they talked over one another in a frantic manner. His eyes darted between the two, trying to decipher what they were attempting to explain, but, ultimately, Ororon, feeling bad for them, cuts them off.
"Hold on. Wait." He says, which silences them. "What happened?"
Which is how he found himself in the Chasm. Walking down the worn-down wooden planks that led directly down into the Chasm's Maw. Ororon, curious, glances down at his eventual destination, and unconsciously lets out a small nervous laugh before tearing his eyes away. Having to push down some of that raising fear that began to grow within him. Shaking those unpleasant feelings away, Ororon continues his downward trek, but stops again once he notices a lady just up ahead with grayish brown hair. The bat tilts his head in question before he remembers. 'The Treasure Hoarder's mentioned another who agreed to help in their plight! Maybe this is her!'
He jogs up to the women with a smile before asking, "Hello! Are you also here to help the lost Treasure Hoarder's as well?"

Commission: Preservation | Hyacine & Ororon
In the world of Teyvat, Hyacine ended up in a nation known as Natlan. The place was incredibly colourful, just her kinda world!! Hyacine could spend much of her time exploring and getting to know the world, however, more important matters came up. Very specifically, the wellbeing of the newly hatched (and hatching) Koholosaurus!
Any healer with any pride in their skills would volunteer their aid at a time like this! Even if… well, the species being checked up on were unfamiliar. Nothing a bit of reading and hands on practice can’t fix!
“Aaaand! It looks like you’re all healthy! Well done,” she beamed, petting the little one. Hyacine glanced up at another volunteer. He had offered to supervise and help Hyacine with the first few or so check ups. He nodded, smiling. Yes!! Approval!! She stood just a bit taller with a proud smile on her face.
Now, onto watching the other hatchlings. Some of the eggs had yet to hatch but there were also some who had. “I’ll move onto that one, I believe you’re ready for your first unsupervised check up. Good luck, Hyacine!” he said, pointing to one of the hatchlings and running off. Hyacine nodded, saluting him before walking over to the other hatchling.
“Little Ica, make sure to keep an eye on the unsupervised hatchlings!”
She hummed as she did the check up, first step complete! All clear so far! Awwww, these little ones are so strong!! Okay, next step!! She had to—
“Doot! Doot-doot!!”
Hyacine snapped her attention to Little Ica. A poacher? He pointed behind her and as she turned to check the situation, someone rushed right past her. Another screamed after them.
“One of the mercenaries has one of the Koholosaurus’! I need some assistance in catching them!”
Not long after that shout, they ran past Hyacine too. Well! That settled things. She turned to the other volunteers. “There’s a poacher! We’ll deal with them and be back soon!!”
She glanced down at the hatchling by her feet. “Sorry, little one, I’ll be back soon, I just need to make sure your friend hasn’t been taken far.”
She turned back around and began running. If she didn’t get to the poacher, then Little Ica certainly would! Soon, she was in step with one of the figures, the one who had called for aid. She looked ahead for signs of Little Ica, good! He was tailing the poacher really well!!
“Don’t worry, me and Little Ica will be sure to help get the Koholosaurus back!”
Ororon turns to the pink-haired lady with a smile as she falls into step with him. "Thanks." But soon his face morphs into a look of shock as he sees a blob of white quickly rush past them both, keeping pace with the thief particularly well on its own!
"Whoa! Little guy's really fast!" Letting out a tiny laugh to express his shock, before turning to the pink-haired lady. Remembering her from the numerous volunteers that showed up to help in the efforts to aid in the Koholosaurus' eggs hatching. Though, they never really interacted. Both of their own strong suits leading them to two different areas.
"Ororon." He introduces. "Nice to meet ya!" Throwing her a smile and turning back to keep a close eye on the escaping poacher, who was sprinting far ahead of them, swatting at the winged creature, Ica, if he heard the name right. Tightly clutching onto the cage that held the baby Koholasaurus. The little blue hatchling let out a loud, pained whine as it gets roughly rattled around. Ororon's ears twitch at the sound, and his eyes narrow.
The bat darts his head around to look at their fast-moving surroundings, trying to gauge a shortcut, or anything that might be useful of them to utilize somehow stop the evildoer's escape. The quick thought of using his bow, or a Spirit Orb flashes into his mind but shakes it away just as fast. While, he was a good shot, and, the Spirit Orb could definitely stop the poacher in his tracks, but the high risk of accidentally hitting the hatchling was too great, and he would never forgive himself if he did harm the Koholasaurus in any way.
"Is Ica able to slow him down at all?" His eyes then zero in on the large of body of water they were coming up to. The path ahead was mostly just water, but the coastline curved inward that had a rocks that were submerged underwater that created a small sliver of space for someone to walk onto. Ororon could see the desparation in the guy's movements, and made a beeline towards it. An idea popped into his head. "Or is it possibly for him to knock the poacher into the water?"
That could definitely slow them down, and allow a safe landing for the baby if one of them was swift enough. "If not, I'm am all ears for any ideas you might have!"

Commisson Board: Elation
Hello everyone! Here are some of the commissions that I am interested in for the grandson! If you are interested in threading with Ororon just ping, DM, or Tumblr IM me, and I shall get back to you when I can! Also, I am a-okay with doubling up on commissions!
[ SCAM ] / the general always said: when you want to test the depth of a stream, don't use both feet. but, he also said——the bird is never afraid that the branch it's sitting on might break because its trust is not in the branch, but in its own wings.
standing at the edge of the snow-covered street now, yanqing holds both of these in his mind at the same time, brow unknowingly creased as he surveys the empty vista of what should be a lively avenue, stripped of people and decoration and of almost everything that'd given the place life not even one week ago. past the long, flat tops of the rough-hewn buildings that defined belobog's architectural landscape, it's impossible to tell whether it's morning or afternoon, day or nearing night. eventually, the skies would darken until the overcast grey became black, and that was the only indication of the passage of time. for now, he makes the best guess he can at the hour the stranger had asked him to meet and one more time measures the general's twin pieces of wisdom side by side in his head.
he needed to be careful. but he should also trust knowingly in his own abilities. think before you act, he was always being reminded, but where exactly was the line? how cautious was too timid ; how confident was too brash?
he'd never find out just standing here, freezing his feet to the pavement.
quelling the chill that threatened to rattle his teeth in his skull, he opts for what he believes is the lesser of two evils and takes the first strides forward, then turns into the agreed location.
there, waiting for him already, is the hooded man——taller and made more imposing by the stretch of darkness, but the beat of yanqing's heart stays still as quiet water, a sweep of the eyes studying the alleged informant in new surroundings before he offers a nod. "i'm here now like we agreed. if you have any true information about this sudden freeze, then tell me what you know. like i said before, if it turns out to be true, then your anonymity will be protected to the best of my ability."
Ororon never thought he would be doing this again.
Since after, the conflict in Natlan had ended, and when the ever-present threat of the Abyss had once loomed over their heads has been drawn back and their once destroyed Ley Lines were restored. He remembers the long, arduous battles it took to get there as well. The many sacrifices, the numerous losses, the fear and the panic that was so thick that you could practically chock on it. It's not a time he looks back onto fondly, but, he will never forget the efforts, so many have made to pave the way for their victory.
And he is seeing the same kind of despair here.
Everywhere he looked, the sadness, the desperation in people's faces, bringing back to many awful memories that made him biting the inside of his cheek, before slipping away, not able to take withstand the stressful atmosphere without almost breaking down into tears.
Now, he was taking matters into his own hands. Which was how he found himself into his current situation. Becoming an informant, once again, with his hood concealing his countenance, and using the shadows to stay hidden from wandering eyes. Trying to be cautious as to not alert any of the Guards to his location.
His head turns as he hears a voice, looking past his hood to see a blonde-haired kid, and nods at him, remembering him to be his intended audience. "Then I hope this information is useful to you then." Leaving the shadows to step closer, but, not too much as to garner any hostility. They were total stranger's after all.
"For the past couple of days, I have been compiling a bunch of information from Silvermane Guard's written reports and through word of mouth of their current operations." Pulling out a semi-dense stack of files that was, surprisingly, easy to acquire. To be honest, whoever was over these Silvermane Guard's really needs to up their security...
Ororon holds the folder out for the other to take. Hoping it would be enough to satisfy the blonde, as he really didn't need his Granny knowing about this...
[ GUARD ] - Someone’s got to keep the fire going, even when everyone else is asleep, and based on the shifting schedule: it’s the two of you. It’s nice to have some company that isn’t just the flickering flame, but it’s still hard to stay awake for hours into the cold night… and, what’s that you spy moving in the distance?
Alhaitham was cranky (tired, he insisted to himself. He would never be cranky.). The coffee here was awful, the company was awful, the snow was awful, the weather, the food—everything was awful. Ever since they'd been herded here because of this... Fragmentum, Alhaitham had been more reclusive than ever. He'd only offered to keep watch over the fire for an excuse to be close to the warmth.
The fire crackled. Alhaitham's attention flickered from his book—was that movement?
Ororon let out a yawn as he moves back towards the fire. His footsteps, careful, as to not cause to much alarm to the other people that were trying to get some sleep, and to the volunteer that stayed awake with him to look over the fire.
Sometime during the shift, he became restless and decided to wander about to ensure there were no monsters lurking about to come and disturb their easily ruinable peace with their precense. He absolutely didn't want to bother the grey-haired individual's intent focus on his book. He looked to not be having the best time with the sudden change of things, and, from his own personal experience, it was best not to disturb someone when they looked to be actively avoiding wanting to talk.
He must have accidentally made a little too much noise as the gentleman's head turns to him. He stops, gives the other an apologetic look. "Sorry. I didn't mean to frighten ya. I got tired of walking around and decided to come back."
The young man walks over and has a seat nearby. Wrapping himself in the blanket that was handed out earlier to everyone. Flicking his gaze everywhere as his leg shakes. Eventually, his eyes settle on the book in the other's hands. Curiosity getting the better of him as he leans a tiny bit closer. "Whatcha reading? Anything interesting?"
Mayonnaise on an Escalator, It's Going Upstairs So See You Later
[Commission] | Aw man what do you mean tanuki hell dream? Not my plans for the day
Upset that no one has been playing games with him, the bake-danuki Koro has outdone himself and wrapped the whole of Chinju Forest in a spell! Now, the once tranquil woods has transformed into a grand, lavish thing, where fireflies would serve you drinks and the nearby river runs with melon soda and sweet dangos. The spell seems to only stretch on and on, with hot springs where they shouldn’t be and... huh? Is that a ramen stand in the middle of nowhere? Anyway, hurry! Find Koro in his grand game of hide-and-seek to undo the spell! Be sure to find him before the seventh day, and try not to indulge too much on all the sweets.
The foggy woods seem to stretch on endlessly, trees blurring into a fantastical environment as clouds of fog blend into spun sugar. Ajaw flits around the area, eyes growing wide at every new piece of the dream that appears before him like an overeager aphid. Kinich has half a mind to tell him to knock it off and focu- was that a hot spring??? Why was there a hot spring in the middle of an Inazuman wood?
This had to be a dream, there was no other logical explanation. In what world did there exist sugar clouds and hot springs that spawned out of nowhere? Then again, he wasn’t an expert on hot springs, unlike Mualani.
“Hey Ororo-” He turns to ask his companion something, eyes widening slightly in shock when he doesn’t find him standing where he had been moments before. Don’t panic. There was no need to panic. Could he simply have wandered off? If that was the case, Kinich needed to find him before he got himself into trouble in this mystical place, “Ororon! Where’d you go?”
@gardenvampyr
Ororon had no idea where he was, or where his companions were. All he knew was that when they entered into this spooky looking forest, he sensed an immense kind of power that he only felt from the many elder shamans in his tribe who had a better mastery of the art of illusion than he did. While his own knowledge in the subject wasn't lacking, it was no one where near this kind of level.
He brings his hand to his chin in thought, while he observed his surroundings. Sugar filled clouds that float up in the sky, a weirdly placed hot spring that doesn't really make sense placement wise, but he wasn't an expert like the People of the Springs were, so what would he know?
'Was one of the shamans responsible for this? What were they doing in Inazuma?' As those thoughts began to swirl in his mind, suddenly a bright, tiny light stopped directly by his nose, just floating there, which broke him out of his own of his own musings. A goofy smile encompasses his face at the light. He tries to reach up and pet it, but it quickly darts away between a couple of trees. It circles back when it realizes he wasn't following. Entranced by the thing's cuteness, and amused all the same, he trails after it.
The little light dances in the air as it joins some of its buddies, guiding him through a field of blue bioluminescent flowers that brightly lights up the darkened forest due to that tree's foliage that blocks the moon's beam. The sight takes his breath away and his eyes widen in amazement.
"Whoa! Kinich! Ajaw! Are you seeing-" He turns to his friends to excitedly talk about the scene, but when he looks, his friends weren't there. His head darts around frantically, trying to locate them, but he couldn't find them anywhere.
"Kinich? Ajaw?" He yells their names out, the sound reverberating through the trees.
Crap...
First Greetings!
"Yes, please take a look around! We have no small number of Warp Trotters in our possession! So, please browse to your own leisure." The cheerful staff member said, leading him through the many different pens of these strange pig-like creatures that Ororon has never seen before, waving at the creatures as be passes by each one, his face hurting at the smile that he kept since walking into the facility. He can't help it when all of them are so darned cute!
Abruptly, the employee stops in their tracks, which causes Ororon to stop. They suddenly spin around and exclaim a loud, 'Ta-da!' as they throw their arms out as a way to gesture to the large room they were in. "If any of the little ones catch your attention, just notify staff and we will be over right away!"
"I will. Thank you!" At that, the staff member walked away, leaving him to his own devices. The boy looked around at it all, and couldn't help but feel a bit overwhelmed. Twirling the flower he had in his hand by the stem to calm his nerves a bit. Bringing it closer to his face to look at and observe it.
First Snow.
Or that's what the Florist at the shop had called it when he visited the shop earlier in the day. He'd been wandering the little store for what left like an hour, asking the cashier question after question about the different kinds of flowers he had never seen before. At some point, he believed that the employee got fed up that he wasn't purchasing anything, so Ororon bought the eight-petaled flower, and left. Liking both the colors and the meaning behind it.
He planned to give it to his Granny when they run into each other again, but, for now, he carried it with him.
As pursued the different options, he saw many different types. One's with vibrant colors, one's with specific patterns, ones that bounced from one end to the other, and ones keeping pace. There were so many, that he couldn't help, but pet them all as they got near him! That was until he spotted a specific Trotter by its lonesome, contently napping as its friends were playing around it. The Warp Trotter didn't look to have any special patterns, or colors on it, it was just a normal Trotter, or from what employee had told him of these little creatures on the walk here. The only difference was that it was a bit larger than the rest, but that was all he could tell.
Ororon approaches the creature, the only tell that it gave to his prescense was an ear twitch. "Hey. What are you doing here all by yourself while your friends go play?" Pitching his voice a little higher as he talks to it, petting its white and gold back. "Sleepy little guy aren't ya?"
The Trotter then lifts its head up to stare at him, its pig-like nose twitching as it sniffs him, Ororon smiles as it before it falls into surprise as the Trotter snatches the flower out of hand and into its mouth. "Wait! That's not-" But it was already too late, it was gone.
Dejected, the bat's head drops to his chest, but quickly recovers from his sadness. It was only a flower, and there are an abundant more that he buy, or find around Belebog, but he wanted to inspect it a little more. Letting out a sigh, he lowers himself until he could see the Warp Trotter's eyes. A smile, as he made his decision.

Hyacine could barely hold still!! Her gaze was firmly on her trotter, the best ever, Speedmaxxer!! Trotters were quite different to Chimeras (and Hyacine had yet to learn their language… wait, was it possible to learn their language without divine guidance?) however!! They were just as cute!
“Go, Speedmaxxer, go!! Show everyone your speed!!”
Speedmaxxer moved 6 spaces, rolling a 4 for collision Remaining stamina: 3
And show, they did!! “Great job!! Remember to pace yourself though, alright? You’re doing awesome!!”
"You got this Big First Snow! Give it your all!" Ororon couldn't help screaming from the crowd. At this moment, not being able to hold back his excitement. The feeling radiating off him in waves as he watches the other as well, seeing them run with everything they got!
"Remember to pace yourself! You'll still get those treats I promised before the race! You got this!"
Big First Snow's little ears perk up at the mention of treats, determined, the Trotter slows down a little, but is still able to gain some speed!

"Really, they expect us to stand out in this wind?" She fakes a shiver and adjusts her coat, just to really sell it, as if her cheerful smile doesn't negate all credibility.
Fake complaint made, Elysia extends a handshake to each of the others who have been seated in the little roped off section designated Trainers Only. They make for quite the crowd, a head of bouncing pink curls to rival her own, a blond, and two of deeper, almost inky hues in exact contrast. "Nice to meet you all! Feel free to call me El- Oh!"
Her introduction is swept away in the blaring of a horn and the subsequent chaos of noise that erupts from the starting gates swinging open. For a mere five creatures, none bigger than a dog, the things sound far closer to a herd of dozens. The latest coat of snow, freshly fallen since the track was last cleared, churns beneath twenty five blurry hooves. It makes for quite the view.
Turn 1: Sprint! (Roll: 2 + 2) Moved 4 positions (3 stamina left!)
And at the front of them, wasting absolutely no time at all, is none other than her very own. It hadn't been difficult at all to choose her contestant, as Elysia had breezed easily past any opportunity for research into her decision and settled quickly on the prettiest one she could find. A white splattered young female with something of an attitude.
Naturally, she had named her Kevin.
And Kevin is, as Kevin does, scrambling towards the finish line without question or care. Absolutely brazen. Elysia claps her hands together, pleased. "There goes my fearless leader~"
Now if only the real Kevin were quite so cute.

Ororon stood with the other contestants in the Trainers Only section. Excitement clearly written all over him as stands at the very edge of their little sitting area, taking everything in with eyes that dart around the racetrack. "This place is huge!" He loudly exclaims, and points to a specific part of the field. "That's where our Trotters come out of, right?" Finally turning to see his competitors, and greets them all with a smile.
"The name's Ororon, and let's hope for a good race, yeah?" As the bat finishes his statement, a sudden loud horn blares to life that causes him to flinch, but instantly recovers when he sees his Trotter run out of the starting area, almost keeping pace with the pink-haired ladies Trotter.
Turn 1: Sprint! [Roll: 3!] Moves 3 Spaces (3 stamina left)
"Go Big Fresh Snow!" He yells out, almost being drowned out by the rest of the crowd, but knowing that his Trotter can feel his support from here.
