The beach was one of Angelaâs favorite spots in Petal Beach, and a place heâs started visiting more frequently. She would have camped out here forever, if she could. âWeâll have better luck when spring hits.âÂ
âCrossing my fingers for just a little bit of rain around then,â he replies, smiling a little at the thought of the beach in the sunshine. âMaybe itâll chase away all the spring breakers come out and terrorize us for two weeks.â
He wonders if heâll still be here in spring, but heâs been here this long already with no signs of change. Maybe heâll figure out how to swim by then. âFunny how I havenât met you before and now we run into each other twice in a week.â
