TOUCH-A TOUCH-A TOUCH-A, TOUCH ME!

If it was her choice, she’d be in the comfort of her own home now - perhaps a cup of tea & a book under warm blankets with Brad at her side - yet, she was HERE. Much stranger than anything she’d witnessed in her life, more of something from a sc-fi movie, & something she didn’t want to be a part of. The place she found herself in was much like a maze in itself, halls that seemed to stretch, EMBELLISHED with a multitude of doors that only seemed to repeat the more she wandered. A sense of dread grew within her with each step, the feeling of eyes on her back not aiding in the UNEASINESS that made her skin crawl. It’s when she hears a voice that makes her heart jump - something she hoped the servant didn’t notice - & she turns quick on her heel. Bright eyes avoid meeting Magenta’s, CONFUSION etched on her lips.     “ Oh, uh... YES actually - but, I’ll be fine!! Maybe... ”     Uncertain words are followed by a skittish laugh, & she can only hope she’ll be spared from anymore of the awkward encounters she’s had enough of ALREADY.

There’s a hint of offense in her gaze, yet it’s in her nature to eke out a faint grin & laugh it away. ( It’s a joke, Janet, you’re FAR too sensitive!! )     “ Well, to each their OWN I suppose!! ”

( Sorry for my lack of activity here, but the musical I’m in performs next week & we’re really crunching these rehearsals, but I’ll try to be on more when the show closes!! )
