thank u!! i'm not certain how helpful a tutorial of mine would be because my process is pretty much just "paint where it looks like paint should be!!" but maybe i'll at least post a video sometime so there's some kind of visual to go with that idea? :'D

in terms of just writing my thoughts at least, though, since i don't have any actual tutorial for you,,

i honestly just use the same two or three watercolours right out of the tube for every single painting i've done lately if that's any indication of how i actually approach this stuff,, (because i don't like mixing colours lmao)

i think the biggest thing is to practice and pay attention to the basics and then let go of making things perfect,, just let your brush do the thinking for you once you have a general idea of how the medium works !! once you understand the basic principles, experiment, have fun, figure out what you personally like the look of and focus on refining those traits ^^

basically, just do what you think will look cool and eventually i'm sure something will click! the way i colour is very much just a culmination of the things i find fun while painting and it really just came about as my way of making painting more enjoyable for myself; if you focus on the parts you enjoy then i'm sure you'll discover a painting style perfectly suited to you ! :D
