“If you’re so confident, then yeah, sure Coop. Idris would probably love to see you, too, if you’re up for it.”

“That too. Well, I want to know the healing process and all that stuff. I don’t want to go in to get a tattoo and bleed out and die… that could happen, you know… if you’re on like, blood thinners..”

“I could be that girl that makes really vague hints to Malcolm…though my plan was to just straight up tell him that I want one. Do you think he’ll hate the idea? Did you guys have any dogs when you were kids?”

Olivia rubbed a hand over her face groaning playfully as she debated on whether or not to say what happened. He was most likely going to say she was overreacting deciding to just get it off her chest..”I had an audition today, something I haven’t done in years and well I thought I was doing pretty well but I got cut pretty soon in the process. I guess I wasn’t as prepared as I thought on the aspect of not making it to the final cut is all. Stupid, right?”

Ravi shrugged in return. “I guess if I did ever have a sudden onset of rage, I could really throw someone off. But I’m usually pretty easy to get along with, inebriated or not.” He leaned back, rubbing a hand over his chin. “That’s fascinating. I’m from London, but I ended up moving here to study. Huh…” At this point, he wasn’t sure what had him grinning like an idiot more: the fact that this guy had been to London to study or the fact that he was a forensic scientist.

“Yes. I research everything. If I’m going to buy something I have to make sure it has at least some good reviews. Especially since this is going on my skin and will be permanent.” 

“Yeah annoyed with myself because I definitely disappointed myself today. Probably even made a fool of myself now that I think about it more.” Olivia shook her head as well as she chewed on the inside of her cheek slightly. A soft laugh leaving her lips at his suggestion. “I look that miserable, huh?”

“I thought so too, but then I saw this really cool tattoo and researched it after that.”

“I’m much more of a lover than a fighter in that regard.” He wouldn’t argue about the abnormality of it, seeing as most guys certainly had a tendency to turn to anger in a drunken stupor. Maybe he was just lucky. Or maybe he’d never been hammered while in a bad mood. A full blown grin crossed his lips at the other man’s career though. “Nooo. How have we not met before? This is amazing. Did you go to university around here?”

“I’m sure you don’t buy yourself dogs…usually I’ll maybe find myself an antique…a little piece of history to add to my collection. What sort of treats do you get for yourself?”
