Small Problem, Big Solution

Alright little update from this post

I decided with the help of some general interest that we should give this a shot! And i made a discord server to try and keep this all organized.

Please, try and join if you are generally interested, not just because i made a server. Not just lurking. Even if i did put a moral support role too just for the foresight of it. X3

Lets see what this G/t Community can accomplish together! Make something beautiful in wonderful in these months!

- I like the idea of being either a giant or tiny, so I think my ideal giant height (though I would prefer to be a human with a tiny companion) would be somewhere around 100–150 ft or so? And if I were tiny. Probably 3 inches.

- literally my entire life LMAO. I read a Jack And The Beanstalk book at like 5 and it was all downhill from there man.

- fluff, obviously. Everyone loves fluff. And some fear play is always good!!! Also I really like borrowers :P and I will always eat up anything where the giant feels guilty in any way. Like if the tiny gets hurt and the giant blames themselves? I am eating that shit UP.

- I mean I kinda like anything, but I'm not usually too much of a fan of language barriers. Also I agree. Cruel giants make me sad. I've mentioned this before, but it's so hard for me to make cruel giants.

- I kinda like anything, but I think if the tiny is like finger-sized then that's peak. Minigiants have kinda been growing on me though. Not including those, I like 2-4 inch tinies (1 inch is alright, but a little extreme) and 100-200 ft tall giants.

- not all that well known in the g/t community, but Sugar Apple Fairy Tale is pretty good. The romance is REALLY boring, but the g/t is cute. Hilda is another good one, but g/t is a little less prominent

- oh goodness. I have so many g/t ocs I couldn't even begin to name them all. My main ones that I've talked about on here though are Vivi + Oli. Shoutout to borrower x princess. I've also posted a drawing of Nerine + Mayari, but it's old and kinda bad.

- unfortunately, none of my friends use tumblr, and even if they did, they do not know about g/t 🥲🥲

-PLATONIC G/T OMG THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE PLATONIC G/T. I love romance, but goodness gracious friendships are already so wonderful and underrated in media, especially in g/t, and language barriers

-I dont like when giants are either like "I could never do wrong i am perfect in every way and have never done bad and will have no character flaws" or they are "i am evil and never do good and am so cruel and have no redeeming qualities" NAUNCE. I dont like one note giants.

- no real preference, but i like when the tiny is smaller then the giants finger.

-when the tiny is smaller than the giant's finger, I don't really like mini giants unless they're half giants or size shifters

-So many, so fucking many. I'm currently writing one on paper so :(. But I have like 50 works in progress. But I have my main stories Kai & Jasper, Noi's Beanstalk, and the Jack-Evans Kids (y'all should totally read them) (You don't have to)

- Hi, I'm Shep, they/them, minor

- I am but a humble 5'5 (5'6 on a good day)

- to be completely honest, being human sized is fine by me, that means I get to interact with giants AND tinys, MUAHAHHAHA

- I've been a g/t fan since I was SUPER young, I'm not exactly sure how it started, but one of the catalysts was definitely Antman and the Wasp, who are both characters known for size shifting

- I LOVE all kinds of g/t, but I absolutely ADORE it when there's any sort of animalistic feature on either the tiny or giant. It absolutely shows in my writing and I can't even pretend it doesn't. I also really like DIFFERENT. GIANT. BODYTYPES. we all love a big buff giant, but what if they were lanky? what if they were really built like a mountain of fat and muscle? Also nuanced characters, especially on the giant side since it's a lot more common for giant characters to end up being kind of flat (I am absolutely guilty of this)

- I don't particularly like the pet trope, it was very overdone when I was first interacting with g/t and often it wasn't very good at depicting that sort of complex scenario. I also agree with cruel giants, if it's just a one note type thing. I think both of these ideas can be done well, but that it's incredibly difficult to do so.

- the larger character is at least 3 times the height of the smaller character, but other than that I don't really have a preference

- Secret World of Arietty, Grounded, Militsioner (if it counts) and literally any of those episodes of any show where one character grows/shrinks

- ah man, there's so so many. I have so many drafts of random OCS just scattered around like everywhere. At the moment I want to finish Beyond the Beanstalk before starting up or continuing anything else (check out my masterpost if you so desire...)

- as for fandom content... lowkey, I feel like we could be doing a lot with Doey the Doughman from Poppy Playtime. Also more Militsioner content please. All of it. Give it to me I'm obsessed with all of it.

-I’m 5’8 and still growing.

-My ideal height for me is my size right now or even smaller. I like to be the tiny in the g/t situation. For the opposite (say if I were to date someone) if it was possible, my ideal height for them would be a giant obviously. Like 100’ or over.

-I’ve been a g/t fan for about nine years, I used to love just watching anything with giants in it when I was a kid. My imaginary friend was a literal giant honestly.

-I want to see more monster g/t scenarios. I’m talking about a humanoid entity and a human being. I haven’t seen too many Kaiju ocs from others, maybe I’m barking up the wrong tree. I’d love to actually see more fluff too.

-As said before I like the giant to be massive, 100 and over. The human can be any size, but the giant? I want them to be terrifyingly big to others.

-I haven’t see that many media attention towards g/t, except tumblr. So I don’t exactly have a say on this. I guess I would like to buy grounded, but that’s about it.

-Me and my friend (@yippesizedifgohard) are making ocs right now, that would be considered a project. But we aren’t yet till the finishing touches are done 😝.

-I do want to see more of the borrowers and Arriety, that was a fire movie. But the way it ended— her leaving to a new home, leaving him alone was heartbreaking to me honestly.

-I don’t really have many g/t friends, and some of them were already tagged— so I’m bummed out.

- I don’t have an ideal height I want to be so I would probably just be a size shifter to be any size. If I had to choose the height though, then I would be 20’ tall, nothing too crazy or unique but ehh

- I’ve known about size stuff cause of TV shows and movies for a while but I didn’t know that the G/t community was where most of the stuff would come from, so I would guess around the time I was 10 that I would have a general idea of what G/t was about, dropped the topic around middle school and then I pick it back up during my time in high school.

- I like most of the stuff that is shown in the community from what I know about so far but the thing I enjoy most is angst, fluff, comfort, being trapped either on accident or to understand what both parties are and where they came from… hmm, this is harder to answer then I thought, I like most stuff from the community, I just couldn’t think of it at this time

- Theres a lot of things that I hate from the NSFW side but there’s not a lot of stuff in the SFW that I hate so idk

- I like giants to be, like, mini giant-size but I don’t know the average size for one so I’ll just prefer one that’s 20’ to 30’ (yeah I’m basic ik)

- I don’t have many G/t media but the ones I do like is Epic, Ant-man, The Secret World of Arrietty (UK dud, I heard it once, saw the US version, chose UK every time), and most other media’s if it has some G/t stuff in its episodes

- I have my comic going on rn on my page and I have a fanfiction I’m working on too, it’s on Ao3 rn but maybe I should make a pinned post with the link to it once I get the chance

- Honestly, I’m not sure what I’d like to see- WAIT! Yes I do, I want to see the scrapped movie that never saw the light of day. It was called Gigantic, when I heard about it, I wished with all my heart that it released faster, forgot about it, remembered it, looked it up and then I got upset it was scrapped :( But media like that is what i want to see the most about again.

- I have G/t friends but I don’t know their tags, plus I talk to them in this server I’m in so I never gave much thought about it (I’m sorry if you know me from somewhere else, I just can’t remember every tag. Sorry)
