My stance on Lily at the moment is as neutral as can be. I don’t hate her. I know that a lot of the shit that goes around about her is utter bullshit, but I know she’s not exactly the unproblematic fave that a lot of her fans think she is.

To be completely honest, when all is said and done… I don’t give a fuck. I do not care. I can continue with my life simply saying that Lily Orchard made a damn good Steven Universe video, and just be done with it. It’s not like I know her, or I’m friends with her or anything. If she’s a shit person, then okay, call that shit out, whatever, but I just wanna use this shitty website to spout my stupid nonsense about bullshit in the media and write CaTCG. I do not want to have to log onto tumblr every damn day and solve the next case in the Lily Orchard Murder Mystery.

It’s fucking tiring. I’m the kind of person who likes to form my own opinions based on evidence and not call people out on baseless claims and blah blah blah but I’ve had enough. If you like Lily, cool. If you don’t, cool. I do not give a fuck either way. She’s said and done shit things, and people have said and done shit things to her. It’s all a mess and I am sick of being stuck in the middle of it. As much as I would love to be someone who can go through everything with a fine comb and come to the ultimate conclusion, I just don’t want to. I am not a private investigator.

I am neutral to all of this, and tired of all of this. I do not want to spend my days fucking around through someone’s past to try and figure out if they’re shit or not. I’m not that fucking bored. I got shit to do that is far more important than figuring out if the sarcastic internet lady is good or not.

My stance is this. She makes some damn good videos sometimes. She was perfectly nice to me when we spoke, and when she explained everything she admitted to the things she did fuck up on, and gave me explanations for the bullshit that people spread about her. She’s said some shitty things, I know, but she’s not evil. She’s definitely not perfect, but she’s not a demon. I stand right on top of the fence.She’s just a person, and people need to stop trying to get me to pick apart her life to figure out exactly how morally good she is. I’m tired of it.

I am under no delusions that I am incapable of saying or doing something extremely inappropriate. My entire Youtube career has been a timelapse of how much learning I’ve had to do.
