“an open letter from an insecure girlfriend- I know you laugh at me when I act insecure. I shouldn’t. I don’t know why I am not like one of those girls who can hide what they are feeling. I wish I could pretend to be okay to see you with other girls, hugging them, spending time with them, being what you call just friendly. I wish I was one of those ‘cool’ girlfriends. I really do but I am so damn scared that one day on one of those friendly dates, you’ll be just a little drunk and so will she and then the next minute you’ll be kissing her. isn’t that how we started hooking up. I don’t know why you make it sound like it’s so bad that I’m insecure. Yeah, to be honest, I am scared to loose you. I’m scared that you will run away when someone prettier comes along. but is it so bad to be scared to loose something or someone you love. you know what, being insecure is not my fault. Someone broke my heart a long long time ago, and the only thing I learnt was you can loose someone- anyone regardless of the promises they make. Yeah, I am insecure. How is that bad? Being vulnerable is not ugly. But I guess it’s bad for me because I chose to give my heart out to someone who doesn’t understand how deep my love could be, and how it’s far from ridiculous.”
