Born Otho Sly, he was a cigarette boy & barhop for the casino(s) he lived in as a child / early teenager on the Vegas Strip. He was keen at slight of hand, impressing strangers for coins on the street so that he could eat, or stealing to survive. An avid pick-pocket and shoplifter.
Later in life he was a pilot for the Second World War, this is where he gained proficiency with card tricks and developed more of an understanding of gambling. A bullet to the back while landed on SS soil earned him his discharge and kept him wheelchair bound for a little over a year, causing him to sink into the grip of addiction, gambling, alcoholism. Anything to fill the void and trauma that the battlefield left him with.
PTSD caused him to isolate himself from friends, those who survived the war or other, and marred his ability to work, along with his injury causing him chronic pain so Husk fell into debt which forced to seek employ with his loan shark to clear his debts, meaning that he had to shake down, sometimes even kill unfortunate souls who were in the same position as he was. The world is cruel and random.

Power: Based on what he have seen of Husk, small glimpses he is shown beside Alastor among the powerful beings of Hell, as well as standing alone before a city on fire, flaming poker chips floating in his claws.
In my current cannon Husk possesses the abilities of flight, pyromancy, and certain forms of telekinesis.
This blog will be portraying Husk as a villain using the Happy Hotel as a guise or refuge until cannon proves otherwise.
