i don’t miss her but i miss the friend she used to be if that makes sense? i miss our friendship and i miss her being my friend but i don’t want her to be a part of my life anymore. she was my person for 3 years and now it’s been almost a full year since we’ve last spoke. usually its easy to not think about her but this past week it’s been more difficult and i keep catching myself thinking “i miss my best friend” when i don’t have one anymore and it’s just so fucking depressing. Sometimes i wonder if she ever thinks about me too but then think about how and why things ended and know that she probably doesn’t because that’s just the kind of person she is and always has been. she was a bad best friend but she was mine.
