neither me nor anarcblr are saying that theory isnt important, we both have blogs that we use as dispenseries for theory, we both post PDFs and quotes and our own perception of what the theory we read means. if we both thought that studying theory wasnt an important part of being a revolutionary we wouldnt do these things.

what were saying is that revolutionary theory is the result of revolutionary struggle, not the other way around. a petit bourgeois college kid that sits around reading books all day without trying to organize, and who thinks they know whats best for oppressed and exploited groups, is politically useless, the rank and file members of tenants unions and prison strikes are the revolutionary actors regardless of how much theory theyve studied or will study.
