you know, it's really a shame that people seem to think that in their fan sessions, they can't have more than one hero per aspect. there's nothing in homestuck that says it can't happen, and i think it'd be really interesting to see the stuff people come up with w/ same-aspect interactions. We do see a few in Homestuck proper, and when they happen they're fascinating. what happens when a thief of life interacts with a maid of life? well, it's obvious---the maid embodies life, and so the thief takes her for her own. what happens when the dead knight of time meets the maid of time? well, it's obvious! the knight struggles with his fate, and so the maid, embodying the aspect, reminds him of the inevitability of death. and just think about the implications for, like, combos and shit.
anyways all this is to say wouldn't it be really fucking funny if there was an all-light player session.
12 light players, each of a different class. jesus christ it would be mayhem. the camera would be switching perspectives every two seconds. the thief would kidnap the maid and heir and then the rogue would free them and these spy vs spy antics would continue for five acts. The mage would get fed up with hearing the narration and throw a weapon directly at the camera. The Seer would be minding their own business in Jack’s office on derse, documenting everything after having reached an agreement with the archagent, and then the mage’s weapon would break out of the fourth wall and knock them out. Afterwards the narration would just end up being a fucking google doc with twelve editors with different agendas.
And god the horrorterrors would TOTALLY get involved at some point. I mean, six light players on derse’s moon? Are you kidding? Someone would be in the grimdark throes within, like, two days. Actually there’s no way derse’s moon would still be standing for long tbh. Some grimdark explosion would happen. Probably cause of the bard or prince. And someone would have to save one of the fourth walls…ok at this point maybe I should just write a fanfic lol
