☘️ Riddle became submissive and quick to bend to authority, disliking and fearing his mom. He hates all those stupid rules, going against them? He can’t do that. Not again. Trey on the other hand BECAME the authority, to protect people like Riddle from people like Riddle’s mom, making sure they don’t break any rules so people like Riddle’s mom won’t punish them! Trey doesn’t realize that he reminds Riddle an awful lot of stuff precisely his mom, something he’ll be devastated to find out.

🍩 Ruggie saw the spelldrive scheme as a way to maybe finally get him and his family out of the slums. When the plan failed however, it just cemented that it was pointless anyway, that he and his family were destined for poverty and nothing he’d do would ever change that. Leona wouldn’t understand. Leona is a goddamn prince, beloved by all. But Ruggie doesn’t see that Leona isn’t loved by all— he’s worked incredibly hard to earn the love of those that matter.

🐟 Azul loves involving Floyd in his plans to terrorize the school grounds, because he loves seeing confusion and chaos in others. It means he’s safe, that they won’t be able to do the same to him. Jade however? He always knew Floyd and Azul would betray and leave him, they all do eventually, and it makes him nervous. Floyd and Azul are so close, but why? Floyd is HIS brother! Is it because Azul is smarter? Because he’s better with his legs? Jade makes sure he’s needed, necessary in Octavinelle, because as soon as he’s not, he’ll be thrown away.

☀️ Jamil is a servant, that’s not going to change any time soon. So, why not make the best out of it? Life is too short to feel bad about something that won’t change, so why not do something about what he CAN control? Might as well have fun, and be friends with his master! Kalim didn’t understand Jamil’s naive positivity, he never had. Kalim had been poisoned and kidnapped, and he’s the heir to an important and wealthy family. He has to show everyone how capable he is, how strong he is. Otherwise the assassination attempts would get worse, and his position would be put into doubt. He’s the Asim heir, that’s never going to change. And he’s bitter about it alright.

🏹 Vil is the second most famous actor in the world, and he knows that’s quite the accomplishment! He knows he’s amazing, and he doesn’t chase endless improvement or perfection, because he knows he’s fine just the way he is. He works hard and improves himself because he loves himself, not because he isn’t satisfied with who he is now. Rook sees Vil as perfect, he loves and worships Vil, and strives to be as perfect as Vil. He finds himself disgusting, especially the him he was in Savanaclaw, he LOATHES that version of himself. Every day he works tirelessly to become perfect like Vil, hoping to erase that empty feeling that only grows worse every day. He’s strict, tenacious, because without that he’ll never be perfect.

🤖 When Ortho died Idia realized that life is short, and he wanted to live each day like it was his last. He built a robot Ortho to give Ortho a second chance, to live with him and experience life again. It might not be the real Ortho, but it soothes Idia, knowing that A version of Ortho gets to see the world beyond the isle. However, burdened by the knowledge of what happened to human Ortho, Ortho can’t understand Idia’s cheerful demeanor. He doesn’t deserve to “live life like a hero”, he’s had that chance and it got him killed immediately. Playing hero is dangerous, and Ortho doesn’t want Idia to suffer the same fate.

🦇 Malleus is a lonely man, so obviously he’s become a bit attention seeker-y, trying so hard to connect, even though there’s just something about him that people don’t like for some reason. So, he just keeps trying harder! Surely if he puts himself out there eventually it’ll work. But Lilia? Lilia is dying soon, and when that happens he will lose everyone, and everyone will lose him. The imminent sense of end has robbed Lilia of being able to enjoy the time he does have left. The fact that everything he’s build, his life and family, none of it will matter when he’s gone… surely he can do something about it? Perhaps… make it last forever?

After literal months of work, finally, my biggest project yet is finished. I'm tired and proud, and I'm very glad to finally be done with this thing. Thank you @SkellyStar for helping me a ton, and I hope everyone will enjoy!
