This is like around last years of college in my mind

Tyler being a wannabe emo that's not the most active or fun person to be around. For a lack of better words, he sucks at hygiene and stays mostly to himself, just barely passing classes. He also spends most of his time gaming.

Then there's Josh, who was once a jock in high school but now just likes sports less, prefers being more of a body builder instead. He's also not pipular enough to warrant being a "jock" too, slightly an outcast like Tyler due to his makeup and colored hair. He struggles in his classes and has concerns of failing though.

This is where I believe that Josh would go to Tyler thinking that Tyler could possibly help him with his professions. Since they were both more of outcasts he was sure it would work for him. Tyler however, is lackluster and can't really help Josh. But flattered by Josh approaching him and being friendly. (Also thinks Josh is super hot) So suddenly he becomes like a thorn in Joshes side, insistent on sticking together.

Now Josh can't shake him off and comes to realize there's. Somehow. A charm with Tyler, even if he frankly has no redeeming qualities. He falls for Tyler first technically. He loves him for who he is. While Tyler just kinda likes him for his attractiveness to be honest.
