This might be a very controversial post, but this fandom needs to stop assuming that Taylor is going to solve all of their problems with her money. The number of direct messages and asks I get from swifties who talk about their health problems, their financial problems, their family problems, etc, and then say "I just want Taylor to see it so that she can help me!" is genuinely getting disturbing. Primarily because of how unhealthy it is to use your pain to get other people to do something for you in the hopes that a celebrity will see it, but also because it is getting to a point where you cannot tell who is telling the truth and who just wants to lie to be noticed by Taylor Swift - or, worse, steal people's money.

THIS NEEDS TO BE SAID!!!! There is an amazing community on here full of people who care. USE THEM. If you need help finding a job, finding a home, etc and you know someone in that area, it’s okay to be like “hey do you know any places that provide x service” and (at least for me) I would be like “yeah I’ve heard this shelter, doctor, etc is good” or “this website seems like it might have some info”. Hell if you set up a gofundme for something and post it on here I’m sure there will be people to help.
