eddie was reserved --- timid. he RARELY spoke up unless spoken to. he rarely overstepped any sort of boundaries, either. which was a positive, he figured. with richie, though ... it was always the COMPLETE opposite. he enjoyed all the eyes upon him, even further ;; he provoked exactly that. so it only took one brief glance at him to know that something wasn't right. eddie also knew better than to call that out --- richie had always been the person to suffer in silence hence why he simply stood from where he was seated, already packing his stuff. "my GOD, richie.. do you have to literally fucking sprint like that." he spat into the silence hanging between them, mainly because he really was struggeling but also because he wasn't all too sure what else to say. "damn you and your long ass spider legs.." from there on majority of the walk was spiked with 'what are you even drinking? is that actual rat poison?' and occasional 'are you aware of how many accidents happen per year.. caused by things like casual rock skipping. what if one of the rocks splinters and bores into our eyes. richie, we could die'. and suddenly ;; "and to be honest.. they're not worthy your talent, anyways." which was way too genuine after the bicker parade he just let loose --- way too RAW.

it was rather unusual for eddie to invest almost an ENTIRE evening conversating and actually putting some effort into hooking up some sort of a bond. he was rather the 'tightly knitted friendship circle' kinda guy than the type of person who would openly throw himself out there. there was close to nothing special or entertaining about him --- b o r i n g ... mundane, even but in no way, shape or form would he ever be as CAPTIVATING as the majority of people around this area. but alcohol definitely helped with solving that problem, at least for him. he'd be lying if he said he enjoyed the taste, he fairly h a t e d it --- the way it tamed down his fears and constraints was a whole different story, though. hence why his feet were deeply burried in the sand beneath them ( he could worry about infecting himself with gastroenteritis tomorrow ). "I don't know if you were purposely stalkin' around buuut now that my brain is shut off .." he shook the cup in his hand carefully. "my other senses are like .. SUPER sharp and I could hear you from a m i l e away. well, or you're just really fucking SHIT at this, man." he snickered throatly before amber hues linked with the person approaching his tet-a-tet with the literal battery acid he was formerly gulping down.

it took several seconds for eddie to realise HE was being talked to --- now staring wide eyed ( yes, eddie. be a FREAK, own that title ) at the other before giving it a modest shrug of his shoulders. "can't say I've got much to compare it to but if that's how it's SUPPOSED to taste .. I seriously don't get all the fuckin' fuss." his nose scrunched up automatically. "I didn't breath trough my nose majority of my sips to get it down, which WORKS but it also makes me very sad." eddie played up a pout formerly to shooting him a curious frown. "you got anything less ... depressing?"

"oh, s h i t, you did?" it was a sincere outburst of interest, causing his focus to shift towards the screen across from them. it was a split second but he could technically FEEL that it would iternally satisfy richie --- him knowing that eddie really did need some kind of a break. there was no use in denying that richie knew him the best. sure, they had been friends ever since eddie can remember but still that sort of BOND was very special to him. he sighed once more in nothing but defeat. "alright, alright .. I give in." with that he packed his stuff --- returning all of it into the bag belonging to it. "though, I simply have to address the teeth rotting shit you're stuffing your face with." his gaze flicked down to richie's blue tinted lips. "now that we're at it .. when was the last time you were at the dentist?" there was a concerned frown on his face as he examined him. "twice a year is adviced, rich. you know that, right? oh, and you also know not to call me eds." eddie couldn't help the small smirk as he 'scolded' him, though. "alright, anyways. let me in on your kind of FUN. I'll be all ears."

though eddie wasn't much of social person, he still knew when things were OFF or just ... weird. which was probably the best word to describe the state lorna and eddie found themselves in. they had been so c l o s e --- almost like best friends. they saw each other almost every day or at least as much as he could squeeze in. and if they didn't meet, they still kept in touch through calls and texts. but since .. he couldn't even recall when things were sort of DIFFERENT. yet eddie kept holding on. "so, uh .. tell me about your life, what's new. fill me in." he exclaimed, a genuine smile spread on his features.

"to be honest .. I am totally on your side here, riz. not a s i n g l e doubt about that." he looked up from where he was seated. "I am all for SAFETY and all that shit, you should be aware of that as of now. so, your explanation only makes sense to me. I simply pointed out that you'll probably get a whole lot of weird looks." he shrugged briefly. "not everyone's on our level of precaution." it almost seemed comical to him --- edward kaspbrak being able to defend himself. it had never been in his blood to stand up and fight. he was the kind who hid behind others or behind simple excuses .. literally ANYTHING to get his head out of the sling. he was afraid --- a scared little loser. maybe that was the reason as to why he kept people like riza close to him. they were STRONG and in every way possible nothing like he was. "the hair? why's that so? you think everyone will be swooned by this dark mass of curls?" he chuckled.

eddie couldn't help himself other than GAGGING at the sheer thought of eating anything even remotely close to a trash can. though he KNEW that remus was only messing with him, it settled an unnerving shiver within him --- especially when the saliva d r e n c h e d piece of candy was handed towards him. a hand came up to cover his mouth in a studied manner. "I am not even KIDDING.. if you don't stop this, I'm gonna vomit and we both know how well that goes." a long torture of rinsing would follow up ahead of said action. "you do know that just waving that around can cause so much actual health damage. I don't.. no." with that he averted his look from the offending thing, that caused his stomach to turn and twist. "jesus fucking christ, remus. you literally don't know when to stop, do you."

eddie sat crossed legged on richie's bed, --- his study work sprawled around him in neat little piles. the red ones are the ones I need to finish as soon as possible, the blue ones are the already finished ones and the yellow ones are the ones that can be finished within the next few weeks. to which richie most certainly l a u g h e d. they were polar opposites --- two asteroids drifting far apart in one space. yet they CLICKED in a way that he couldn't even explain himself. "rich.." he sighed, not even gracing him with a look in his direction as he tapped the back of his pencil against his jaw. "I literally fuckin' BEG of you, be quiet or I'm gonna explode." there was no real harm behind his words --- not the typical edward kaspbrak fume. "you literally did nothing the past twenty minutes other than throwing empty candy wrappings at my head and I'm THIS close to popping a nerve." it was only then that eddie looked up. 

memorized steps took him street to street over to eurydice's work place. he knew this way by heart and he figured that there was no way possible he could ever forget about it again. always same time --- same place. his shouldered bag hung loosely around him as he entered the shop, bell softly ringing above him --- only his elbow touching the door as he pushed it open, of course. he could never be all too sure when it came to anything outside his house where everything was sanitized to the core. "you won't believe what I had to see with my own two eyes, eury." there was a soft gagging at the end of his words. "no, you know what. I can't even talk about it right now. some people never learned ANY sense of social skills." finally, his eyes met up with hers --- a somewhat relieved breath leaving his body rapidly. "anyways, I brought us drinks. you can choose which one you like better, I don't care."

there was nothing but DARKNESS outside -- only a couple of bright dots sprawling across the night sky. it almost seemed comical that he still had to sneak out of his house -- being twenty years of age most likely meant that the majority of families let loose of their children, knowing that they could handle themselves. yet his very own mother kept on being unbearably tight on his case. so, walking out of the house without any real reason wasn't the way to go. silently he pushed himself through the main door, praying that he calculated the c r e a k i n g parts of the house correctly. "oh jesus FUCKING christ.." his heart stopped in it's tracks as he turned --- now facing persephone with wide hazel hues. "you scared the shit outta me, dude." there was a small laugh nestled within his words. "I thought we were supposed to meet up at your place."

lips scrunching up in DISGUST eddie watched the other with an attentive side eye. "I honestly don't want to be that guy but do you even k n o w how horrendously UNHEALTHY that piece of crap is?" it was rhetorical, of course it was. nobody really listened to his health rants, anyways. and he didn't expect that, either. "it's literally like digging both of your hands deeply into the crusty ass garbage can back there and shoving whatever the hell you find in it down your throat." there was a soft snort almost mimicking a LAUGH. there never was any kind of harm meant to be taken when it came to edward kaspbrak. it was his way of caring --- a bit too much, a bit too intense.

"I'm being dead serious right now." there was a HINT of a smile painting his features --- hazel hues dancing over the woman's face. there was a certain soft spot within him when it came to riza. there was something about her that t i c k l e d the softest side nestled deeply in his core. "I literally know nobody besides you that does that." palms resting calmly in his lap he leaned a bit closer. "so, don't go around acting like that's the most casual thing in the world. but like .. don' get me wrong. it probably only makes you even more interesting. which I personally feel very offended by. leave some personality for the rest of us." sometimes it scared him how CAREFREE he could be around her.

"but you don't get it.." the sigh latched onto that was almost fuming with frustration. "that's not how that's supposed to.. --- you know what?" he pinched the bridge of his nose with two of his fingers. "the way you're literally spraying your spit across my face makes me gag. so, do yourself a favor and save the breath you're wasting doing so and QUIT giving me a aneurysm." with that he shut his notebook close and left the person he was formerly talking to without a second glance back. "oh, thank GOD, you're here. I swear, some people only have a brain to fill the empty space between their ears, holy fuck." eddie mumbled while disinfecting both of his hands. "at least you look like you're enjoying yourself."
