This was hands down one of the best games on the Genesis/SNES. I am so upset that LucasArts went out of business, because seriously it would be great to have this game on the Switch. Unless it is...? If so, they would be wicked!!

Happy Earth Day!! Be sure to do your part today and everyday to preserve our planet. Save the Bees, recycle, use reusable straws, and all that good stuff. 

Anyway, thats PSA #1 for today. On to our second PSA is that Folded Flags released a brand new track today called Amazons!! First off, I’m shocked they put this on Soundcloud. I didn't even know that was a thing anymore. I thought everyone either uploaded music to Spotify, Amazon or Apple music. Regardless, I listened to the song and it really exceeded my expectations. Like I was expecting it to a decent single, however, it blew me away. The sound is phenomenal, and the lyrics are sensational. When everything comes together, it makes you feel the emotion in the song. It has been a while since I had a song send chills all throughout my entire body. The last song to give me that type of strong feeling was Don’t Miss the Brakes by Dear Love. Before that, it was Don't Stop Believing by Journey*. 

(*To clarify: I mean like making your heart race, your adrenaline skyrocket, and basically giving you goosebumps all over your body. Don't get me wrong, I love music and it defiantly has some healing powers; however there are just very few songs that give me that intense feeling.)

This song is a 10/10!! I absolutely love it!! I love the direction they are taking with this new project and so far they are doing a FANTASTIC job!! I’m super excited to hear more tracks from these boys. I highly recommend checking out Amazons right now!! Start your week off right with some epic music:

So, recently the boys shared an update on their project Folded Flags. They will be releasing some BRAND new music in a few weeks and honestly I cannot wait!! I’m super excited. The Motions is such a great song and I'm stoked to see what else the boys have up their sleeves!!

Also random side note: You know I often wonder, do you think we will ever get the second Final Atonement album, Unknown? Hmm, I mean I hope so, because the teaser sounded amazing!! (and yes there is a teaser available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7eWBTdinnM. Yeah just like ACFS’s last album, I never got that one either. I know it’s been like two years since they sent the complementary album to which I never received. I’m still a little bitter about it. I mean come on, at least put it on iTunes so I can download it. It was a wicked album...just saying.) Then again we can’t be too mad, because Folded Flags is wicked awesome!!

So, we were so fortunate enough today to get a piece of this brand new project Dave and Mike have been working on lately.

The project is called Folded Flags and the new single is called The Motions.

I’m not going to lie, when I heard it was a little political, I was a bit hesitate; until I listened to it. I love it!! It’s really really good. It reminds me a lot of the music from the 1960s, but with a modernized twist. As it is said, this new wave of music will tackle “the worldwide issues we face today with social media, political and cooperate corruption; human rights, climate change, etc.” (Mike) Whoa!! Talk about making a major statement with your music and that’s the way it should be. Our world and perception of it is changing drastically. So, open your eyes and start paying attention, people!!

Now, if you haven’t heard this new single, I recommend it!! Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed!! :-D

As you might have noticed, this is NOT a band blog. I usually do a blog for the bands I follow every year, but after the fan art assessment, this one is for ME! Also, I wanted to called this blog “Goals for 2019,” instead of using the word, “Resolution,” because I don't really have anything to resolve this year. All that shit was left in 2018!! You know? 

Anyway, I have spent the last two weeks of 2018 thinking about this as I worked on my Fan Art Assessment. Now I’m not saying that I didn't have fun creating it or I didn't feel accomplished when it was complete. I had a great time and felt amazing showing my major support for the bands I follow; HOWEVER it did physically and emotionally drain me. I spent so much time creating each drawings and trying to make sure they were perfect. With that being said, I have some new goals for 2019: 

1. Artwork

I am going to spending a significant time on my own artwork; not focus less on Fan Art. NOW this doesn’t mean I’ll STOP supporting the bands I follow, oh no; but I’m going to focus more on myself. Like I mentioned, I worked so hard on the assessment and it sort of went unappreciated. So, I decided that I needed to change. I want to perfect my OWN artwork instead of just creating fan art. 

2. Taking Risks

I plan on taking a lot more risks this year. One of my biggest fears is flying, but I am determined to take some trips. I know I say that every year, however this time I truly mean it. I need to stop being so afraid and just do it. 

I just want to start feeling more appreciated and I want to come out of my own shell a little bit. So I don't have many goals for 2019, but the ones I have are enough for me. 

I am also going to be taking some more time working on my own writing, as well as blogging. I feel like I don't blog enough, and that’s because I feel restricted to just the bands I follow. So to changed that, I’m going to start posting random stuff, artwork and other amazing things from my life. Now I know everyone says these types of things in 2019, however, I actually plan on following through with them. 

It’s going to be an year filled with positive vibes and less stress!! So Happy New Year Everyone!! Let’s make 2019 EPIC!!
