Very proud of these! I lost the office Halloween Costume Contest (in fact, I only got a single vote) to a store-bought giraffe mask, with a store-bought Vader costume in second place and about ten other costumes inbetween, but I look good and I’m finally pretty happy with my Snake outfit, so yeah!

((It's not as if Hayter's not capable of a more subdued performance. Kiefer doesn't sound passable, and it throws me off. Hayter's been doing a progression thing where the older and more war-torn the Snakes get, the more battered their voice; Old Snake sounds way more gravelly than Vic Boss, for instance. This is also the same guy who did MGS1 Solid. If what Kojima wanted was a more subdued performance, they could have just asked Hayter to give them a more subdued performance.

I'm still going to play MGSV, and I'm going to love it and I'm going to buy it on its release day. But until I hear Kiefer coming out of my TV, I'm not going to believe he's really replacing Hayter.

Interestingly, I've never heard anyone complain about Hayter's voice before they announced the change.))

((I feel bad but I just can't get excited about MGSV with that horrible sound coming out of Snake's battered old throat.))
