Hi, Bladers and Bey fans of Beyxblr. My name is Émile Roji, and I’m the guy who’s been behind this blog… sort of.

The one who started this and the one who spoke to you is Eros. He started out as an “alter ego” of sorts, with the job of keeping me safe. He was created when I started to disassociate after some… tough things. He might speak to you guys again, and he uses the #💗~arc of eros~💗 tag he created at the beginning. Now, he lives in my Bey, Guardian Eros, since Bruce split him out of me and stuck him in a Bey vessel.

I, on the other hand, am getting used to being my own person for the first time in, well, ever. So I’m reinventing this blog to represent who I am now. There’s gonna be some changes, and I hope I can get to know you all again, the right way this time.

I’ll use the tag #💞émile interactions💞 now that it’s me speaking. But I’ll save the Eros tag, just in case.

To be honest, I wasn’t expecting anyone to… be nice to me like this, but you guys have been really welcoming. It’s been weird, but I’m just glad that I ended up getting a chance to meet you all.

(*He walks slowly into the warehouse, calmly looking around as his footsteps echo.)

*he pulls Robin forwards, now detached from the chair but his arms are still tied by his sides. He stands behind the shorter boy, putting his hands on Robin’s rope-covered biceps. He meets Bruce’s eye, looking over Robin’s shoulder with a straight face.*

Here he is. Now, for my terms. I want him back; I want you to give me Eros back.

*he holds out the Bey that his alter ego is inhabiting*

Set him free from here, and I’ll give you Robin back. Please don’t make this difficult.

(*Bruce doesn't even register Emile's request. He holds out his launcher, loading in a strange black and purple Pegasus.)

What did you do to Robin?

(*Bruce's aura has a strange zen to it. It doesn't seem angry or flared... it simply pulses weakly, like the soft light of a campfire.)

Nothing he won’t sleep off. I told you, he’s not hurt. He should wake up any minute now.

What. Did you do. To Robin.

(*Bruce's aura becomes noticably darker, his pupils slowly dialating sharply as the once cyan and gold turns into a bright purple and blue.)

(*His aura starts to get bigger, it's presence suffocating, even if the softness of it still remains.)

*he flinches back, startled by the shifting energy in the air*

Why don’t you ask him yourself?

*he pulls the gag and blindfold off of Robin and shakes him awake*

*he registers that his arms are tied and immediately flinches. He looks around the warehouse with wide eyes until they lock onto Bruce*

Bruce! Wh-where are we? I remember… I went to the park to meet- Émile!

*he turns his head and finally sees his captor*

You! Why did you- You attacked me! I walked with you to the trees in the park, and then you grabbed me, and put that cloth with that weird sleepy stuff on my face! Then I got dizzy and … and then I woke up here.

*he struggles against the rope once again. Nothing.*

(*It was a explosion of power. Of rage. Of pure, unfiltered, unrestrained anger.)

(*And from it, it was as if the warehouse had simply ceased to exist.)

(*The second the ripcord left the launcher, all that was left in in Void Pegasus's wake was a crater where the warehouse once stood, and giant crevasse of destruction carved through a small section of the forest just beyond the walls of Xenon where the warehouse used to be close to. Luckily, no building other then the warehouse were destroyed... but the tremors that burst through the city would be felt for miles.)

(*Bruce stares, his eyes a blank black color with glowing purple pupils, as the sheer burst of his Resonance coats what remains of the warehouse is coated in purple flames.)

(*Robin and Emile remained safe despite the surge of power... but Emile felt the hairs of their neck tingle, as if they were nanometers away from having their head cleaved clean off their body.)

*Émile is officially terrified, as the ground he had just been standing on simply disappeared*

I told you, I never hurt him! I never planned to! He’s not the one who’s at fault!

*he can clearly see that this won’t have any effect of calming Bruce, so he panics and does the first thing that comes to mind*

Battle me! Winner gets what he wants! You win, and I give you Robin, but if I win, you give me Eros back!

First to 5 points.

Bruce! You don’t have to do this! I’m okay, really! The rope burns a little, but otherwise he didn’t hurt me at all! We can just leave.

*robin is equally as scared as Émile, but he’s also scared for Bruce. These actions aren’t like him, and Robin’s worried Bruce might do something he’ll regret. He knows he’s not likely to be able to calm Bruce down while he’s like this, but he feels like he has to try*

*Émile interjects on the other two. He’s frustrated that he let his bargaining chip slip away and is becoming impatient; he’s anxious to get this on already. Not knowing quite what to do with his body, he awkwardly mimics Bruce’s stance*

I REFUSE to lose! Face me already!

*he grips the launcher tightly, body flashing with red Resonance once again, and Guardian Eros rattles in response*

Let It Rip!

(*Bruce whips back clockwise, his launcher behind his back whilst he inserts Pegasus.)

(*Bruce winds back further, his body tightly coiled as his Dark Resonance flares up.)

(*Bruce lowers his stance, holding his launcher like a two handed sword.)

(*Bruce's eyes sharply dilate, his eyes locked onto Emile.)

(Bruce whips forward, his momentum making Void Pegasus a blur as it enters the air, a demon wing of Dark Resonance forming on his right side.)

Eros! Stand firm! Be ready for the attack.

(*Void Pegasus rushes in, letting out a fierce barrage of smash attacks. It only takes about 5 attacks for Eros to be booted from centerstage, with Void taking their place as now Eros is circling Pegasus.)

DARK WING SHIELD!

*the bey tips in towards Void Pegasus, its rounded blades aiming to strike the ratchet*

*his Resonance flashes, this time because Eros is speaking to him*

I-I can hear you! Alright then! Use “Rose-Tinted Topple”!

(*And @personas-baby-bird can only watch as he knows well what's about to happen next.)

(*Darkness erupts from Pegasus as their blade shifts, the 3-bladed, wing shaped blade turning into a 6-bladed star shape.)

(*Pegasus charges forth, the dark Pegasus's form being summoned from its vessel.)

Go, Bruce! Go, Pegasus!

*the fallen angel and the Xtreme Finish stun Robin into silence for a moment, but he speaks again to judge the match *

A-An Xtreme Finish! 3 points to Bruce and Pegasus!

*Émile cries out as Eros sails past him and out of the arena. He runs to pick it up and bring it close to him*

What happened?! Eros, are you alright?

*he pauses, aura flickering once again as Eros answers him*

An Xtreme Finish without an Xtreme Dash…

It’s okay. We won’t lose next time.

(*Bruce launches Void Pegasus, the fallen angel avatar watching from behind him, as Void lands and starts rushing... Counterclockwise? Seems Void has a Dual Spin ability.)

*the bey hesitates for a spilt second before charging in to strike Pegasus. Obviously, it rebounds without causing any real damage at all, but that was Émile’s plan all along*

Make them feel the pain they’ve caused me!

*the red energy surrounding him flares up and shades of black flash through it as they use a Dark Resonance Xtreme Dash*

*Eros charges in, it’s small upturned blades threatening to pierce straight through Pegasus*

I don't need Darkwing Shield this time. Spin-Stealing should be more then enough defense. You keep trying to attack over and over, but that isn't the only way to win a battle. And when you did go defensive, you didn't think to try and use your bey's blade to make any attempt at counter.

(*DR!Bruce smiles.)

D-Don’t you dare bring that up! I didn’t h-have a choice! I did- I did what I had to to survive!

*he screams the next few sentences*

I never had anything! My mother didn’t want me, my cousin almost made me kill myself, and this whole fucked up planet decided it could use me! And there wasn’t a damn thing I could do about it! Do you know what I’ve been through to be alive right now?! I’ve never been free a day in my life!

*he rises back to standing, shaking but with a new fire in his eyes*

I’ve lived through a hell of a lot worse than this, and there’s no damn way I’m gonna lose here! I’ll find out what it’s like to be free if I have to claw my way to it!

Eros! Will you defend me one more time?

*Resonance flashes from Émile into the Bey as they communicate. the bey’s rotation is wobbly, but the next move will use that to its advantage*

Well THAT speech feels familiar.

(*As Pegasus tilts sharply to keep up with Eros, DR's grin widens.)

Y'know, for a first timer, you seem to be somewhat of a opponent. Of course, I can't go full power. Don't wanted Xenon getting crumbled. But now that I've had a round to cool off, this is getting fun. Of course, I can't just leave Robin hanging, so I think it's time to end this.

(*Pegasus rebounds off of Eros's attack, and heads for the X-treme Line.)

I can see all you've done to get here, but how you handled it separated yourself. You became distant, disconnected from reality just to make it through another day. You say you had no other option, but in the world of Beyblade, I find it hard to believe someone with that kind of natural talent couldn't make it far if you could find a reliable teammate. And with it, you crafted a mask to hide the darkness in your heart.

(*Void Pegasus connects with the rail.)

But you'll find that the dark isn't what you fear. It's that fact that you don't know what lurks in it. Uncertainty is the greatest bravery killer, and you folded into it's cold embrace. You kept your head down and stayed quiet, yet you should have looked towards the sky.

SO I'LL CHARGE, AND LIGHT THE SKYS OF UNCERTAINTY WITH A PITCH BLACK LIGHT, COVERING THE DUSK IN BRIGHT REDS AND PURPLES!

(*With a burst of power that emits a surge of pinks, oranges and golds, Void Pegasus charges forth, covered in a twilight colored energy as they crash into Eros, sending them flying into Emile's hands.)

*he flinches, caught off guard after the spectacle when Pegasus sails by. He shakes off the pieces of the ropes, rubbing his arms to soothe the pain*

*in the corner of his eye, he sees Émile fall to his hands and knees*

H-hey! Are you okay?!

*he runs over to check on him; despite what he’d done, Robin is still willing to help him (he clearly needs it) and kneels beside him. His hand hovers awkwardly over the blond boy’s back, unsure if touching him right now would be soothing or not*

…Émile? -🪶

I-I lost? After all that… I still couldn’t even compete. All that work… for nothing. I’m sorry, Eros.

*he raises his voice so that Bruce can hear him*

It’s over, then. I lose.

*he looks up, though avoiding meeting anyone’s eye. The expression of nervousness and pity on Robin’s face makes his stomach feel like a pit*

I thought, when I got Eros back, all of this: the kidnapping, the battles, the shitty past few days; they’d all be worth it. But now… what was it all for? Where do I go from here?

*he starts to cry, clutching his bey close to his chest*

You get back up and keep going. No matter what happens, the world keeps revolving, and time moves forth. What you did, what you think you can do, and what you will do. No matter what, dusk fades to night into dawn into day. The only thing anyone can do is keep going, racing against the sands of time.

You say that you lost Eros. That you lost that vital part of yourself. But you hold them right there in your hands, do you not? You battled alongside them. You fought to see the sun again, but fell as you tried to follow it. But it'll come back up behind you, shining it's light over the horizon.

(*DR cups Emile's hands, their Resonance shining in unison with Eros as a soft smile craves it's way onto his face.)

They're always with you, in one form or another. They've lent you their strength time and time again. And now, it's time for you to be strong alongside them. Because if you wont, no one else will.

Robin, call me DR, I'm basically some weird Anti Form / Rage Form Sora from Kingdom Hearts kinda deal, help Emile with whatever or something cause I'm gonna go take a nap before Bruce regains control so he isn't super disoriented.

Luckily, no building other then the warehouse were destroyed... but the tremors that burst through the city would be felt for miles.)

(*Void Pegasus rushes in, letting out a fierce barrage of smash attacks. It only takes about 5 attacks for Eros to be booted from centerstage, with Void taking their place as now Eros is circling Pegasus.)
