Stacey, Casey's twin sister, was planning to move into a new home and let Casey and their younger brother, Jasper, live with her. However, Casey was planning to stay home with Jasper and her parents after graduation, leaving Stacey to live alone.

One day, Casey wanted to come out as bisexual to her parents. They were pissed.

Heartbroken by their parent's disapproval, Casey moved out. They traveled for a while until they decided to turn a hill in a snowy taiga into a makeshift shelter, then build a new home at a beach beside the nearby forest.

Little did Casey know, something took interest in her.
