“Does she know that she’s 50% of his Instagram?” Sphintus deadpanned. “And does he know that the heart emoji is not a valid punctuation mark?”

“Oh, you don’t wanna see Kougyoku’s, then.” Aladdin said. “That one’s got filters and stickers and the hearts come in all colors.”

Sphintus shuddered.

“That,” Aladdin pointed at the monitor. “That’s my project.”

Sphintus looked skeptic. “You want to play matchmaker?”

“Oh!” Titus nodded, finally getting it too. He was a bit slow with the cues sometimes, but he always followed through. “You think they like each other, so you want them to start dating!”

This one is basically Aladdin, Morgiana, Judal, Kouha, Hakuryuu, Sphintus and Titus sailing our ship. Bad matchmaking, meddling friends, unexpected brotps and drunken shenanigans.

“Daddy, Daddy, tell me a story!”

“Another story?”

“Yeah, just like the ones in your books.”

“Hmm…what if I don’t have any more stories to tell?”

“Daddy, everyone calls you Alibaba the Great Storyteller. I’m sure you have lots of stories you haven’t told me yet!”

“Very well, listen carefully. Noong unang panahon…”

“Daddy, what are you saying? I don’t understand a thing!”

“Ah, well you see, in ancient times, there existed many languages, for every race had a language of its own. Alma Torran is the only one that survives until today, but there were many, many more.“

"Really, Daddy? But, how’d you find out if you weren’t alive back then? Oh, did Uncle Aladdin tell you?”

“Yes he did! Okay, back to our tale. Long ago…”

One month late and pure nonsense. @selfish-alice and her wonderful fics got me thinking of an OPM song for alikouweek, and this one came to mind:

The Chronicles of the Amazing Adventurer Alibaba, Chapter 147:

Not long after we launched the Fanfan Trading Company, Ka Koubun “enlightened” me that we’d be celebrating the anniversary of Kougyoku’s coronation in two weeks. Two weeks! I didn’t have a present for her and I could not think of any gift that would fit the occasion—unless I’d give her flowers, but since it was supposed to be such a “grand day” I figured I’d need at least a hundred bouquets of roses and what in the world would Kougyoku with 1,001 flowers? It had to be something special, something not just for an empress but also for a very good friend…close friend…more than a friend…very, very dear friend. Something unique, something amazing.

This was actually supposed to be for the ‘Power Couple’ prompt, but the 'Family / Dragon & Phoenix’ one screamed “MAFIA AU!!!” at me. And I was going to do that until I realized I don’t have enough knowledge for a proper Mafia AU so instead… maybe I should… utilize the fact that I have seen all existing episodes of Agents of SHIELD.

Koumei, shortly after his return to Rakushou, observed a couple of things:  - first, Kougyoku was always smiling;  - second, she was always smiling at flowers;  - and third, the palace staff were all up to something.

Alibaba decided he was going to make his steps louder, maybe he should cough or something, let them know someone was coming. He didn’t want to eavesdrop after all-

“…-you mean the Prime Minister? Alibaba-sama?”

-and mission aborted. He stepped closer to the walls, out of sight, and walked more cautiously.

Normally he would mind his own business, but technically it was his business now, now that the topic was him.

Whenever Kougyoku heard those words said to her, she would always look down and trace the soul mark on her wrist. The lines seemed to shimmer faintly, and she thought she heard the crackling of flames.

alikouweek day seven: Alternate Universe (Tangled AU)

Prompt Day 7 : Alternative universe,

Pirates!Magi 

Héhéhé, Alikouweek is a good pretext to draw some pirates AU ! ＼（＾∀＾）ノ

They are just out of a battle, and Kougyoku get injuried on the leg; so Alibaba has to carry her (she didn’t really hate that, but won’t admit it, she’s too fierce)

Bonus : explanation of how they meet in this AU :

Kougyoku is a talented girl coming from a rich privateer family, they wanted to marry her to some other rich heir (aka Ahbmad Saluja) but then she kind of  runaway saying that before she wanted to catch the ship ‘Labyrinth’ and his famous pirate and smuggler captain, Ali baba ! Then, she take the sea, thinking that if she captured him she’ll earn enough reputation to chose who she’ll married (her close childhood friend, Judal).

I was torn between completely ignoring that Alibaba’s skin would burn Kougyoku and trying to be true to canon. The end result is a compromise. They are about to kiss but Alibaba’s holding back from taking her into his arms.
