Cecropia Moth. It's wingspan was as long as my hand from fingertip to palm. This is the first one I have ever seen!

Stopped for an hour of morel hunting this morning and while stepping over a hollow log this screech owl flew out from in between my legs. We sat there staring at each other for an eternity both wondering how the hell this happened. #vscocam #morel #owl
